This whole tour feels like pre-season trial games where the coach just plays the fringe players to get experience and see what they've got.
I'd give Short an extended look for this tour. Better to know now where he's at. See if he can score runs at this level or if he's a one hit BBL wonder.

I've got to say, very disappointed with the lack of Western Australians in the team.

Waussies are well represented...Marsh, Jhye Richardson, Tye, Short and Agar. What about the dearth of Blues. Now I am not saying that any deserve to be picked.

Same old same old. Poms win toss on a flat belter designed to nullify our superior pace. Then proceed to smack our attack to all parts. Come our time to bat and their dual spinners proceed to cut a swathe thru our very ordinary batting lineup. Only blokes showing any proficiency again spin are Agar, Maxwell and Marsh. Dont expect much more from Maxie.. he has already had his one decent score in six.
