Some good talent in that team. How good is Mark Ioane going? I feel for Glen Fisiiahi, he must have felt he had a curse on him stopping him from scoring, but he kept going for it and got there in the end. He's a top talent, too. I really like Nafe, ripping talent out of dummy half, but... I did note a big error from him on the weekend. After Johnson made the big bust from memory off a chip, we had a tackle situation 5m out. There was like 1 defender to the left of the posts, Nafe went right. First time I've really noticed anything resembling a poor play by him.. none the less, he is a freakish talent.
All in all, they are very enjoyable to watch, and if we get them prepared for first grade well enough over the coming years they are a good core group to take first grade a long way too. I think they have a definite chance. I don't think the forward pack is as good as the forward pack in year 1 (Matulino, Fai, Packer, Poching, Ah Mau), but they have Johnson, Fisiiahi and Seluini who all have the X factor to cut teams open in tight contests.
