i like the potential in greenfield, but i don't think his potential is that much greater than that of cordoba or oake, besides possibly the festered attitude from hagan's tenure

I dont think he is off contract, but what about Nick Kenny? Doubt the Broncos would release him now that they lost Taylor but why not?

Russell Packer or Sam Rapira from the Warriors?

Adam Blair will be as good as Asotasi. Or Jeff Lima, both good players.

Eddy Pettebourne is a good player at Souths. So Is Michael Greenfield.

I like Lopini Paea at the Roosters, plays alot like Fui.

Russell packer will be one of the top three props in the comp barring injury by the time he matures, but sadly for us the Warriors have already signed him to a five year contract.

Adam Blair is already head and shoulders in front of Roy Asotasi as a player. Asotasi form, while still decent, has been way down on his best for almost a combined full season now. Blair is now the best frontrower for New Zealand.

Back on topic: Justin, it would be a dumb move to sign with the sharks right now.

on the surface, it probably would be a dumd move, however none of us a privy to the negotiation process between the player, manager and club so who knows??

the sharks should follow the eels lead and put the nrl team under the leagues club - that way they could shaft the "financial disaster" stories to the leagues club .... oh hang on :sarcasm:

It would be a dumb move for Poore to sign with the Sharks, with a guarantee on the contract or not.

It would be a dumb move for Parramatta to be paying in excess of $300,000 for Poore when we could sign two or three players for that sort of money. He is a decent player and is starting to come into his prime but then so is Dan Hunt, who would come for almost a third of the price allowing us to sign a couple of other players in the same hit.

Matt Scott, Dan Hunt, Matt White, Danny Williams, Shackleton, Warea Hargreaves...... I still see these guys as better choices overall in both strengthening the forward pack and the depth which is a clear issue at the present moment.

I think Parra have already got wind of Poore's decision and with the re-signing of Mannah and with Caylo and Fui still under contract I would say that a Matt White or Matt Bell is what they're looking for.

soemone like shack to partner Hindy in the backrow is a must though.

he would be a good buy for the right price.

Yes, well lets hope that the 3P cowboys have reconsidered that. Shifting the ownership solely because "that's where it belongs" is naive to say the least.

The sharks might be saving the good news for after a win, they sure do need a positive story.

Apparently LG have just walked away from the Sharks... so Justin may be an eel after all or will have to play on the central coast.
