MOM is crap, and if we sign him we would be signing him on potential only. I for one prefer to use any money we have on players who are hungry for success. This is not what MOM represents as a player anymore and I don't want to take the risk of spending 150k on a fat, laterally challenged, out of form, tired and lazy forward when we are struggling with available monies at the moment.

I never do Raudonikis. Unless he comes over basically for free(50k or less) then don't risk spending good salary cap money and space on a huge and fat gamble. We need to use every cent we have wisely. This guy even at his peak had lateral issues and he can't even run hard in a straight line ffs let alone bend the line or intimidate anyone, unless he falls on someone and accidentally smothers them to death with his fat whale blubber.

Not on what he has produced for the last two or three seasons now Staggs. To take a gamble on him at this stage of our clubs dealings with player payment problems why would we take the risk on a non performing old player? Matthew Scott is a much better option, with great upside potential.

It's unfortunate for us that he is likely to go to the Sharks, how that is an attractive proposition at the moment I'm not sure. However I think all is not lost if we don't get Poore. I know that TLL is keen to stay with the raiders, but say if we secure (and im speculating here) his services as well as the Shackleton's, it's definetly a move in the right directionand it'd probably cost as $400-$450 to do so, rather than Poore who we'd be paying $300+ for.

Whatever happens in the market and in terms of our recruitment, you can be guaranteed this (sadly). The player(s) we recruit, will be better than the ones currently at the club.
Few people on here are stating that TLL is as good as staying in canberra, but why don't we tempt him with a bigger offer than canberras.Lets face it they have enough frontrowers themselves

You guys should go after Dan Hunt, He's playing pretty good football and would command less $$$$ that Poore.

I dont think he is off contract, but what about Nick Kenny? Doubt the Broncos would release him now that they lost Taylor but why not?

Russell Packer or Sam Rapira from the Warriors?

Adam Blair will be as good as Asotasi. Or Jeff Lima, both good players.

Eddy Pettebourne is a good player at Souths. So Is Michael Greenfield.

I like Lopini Paea at the Roosters, plays alot like Fui.
