Id say Lawrence gets dropped for Inglis. But Inglis still has to prove himself because Lawrence was pretty good.

I also wasn't very impressed with Galloway. He looked buggered early and got lazy.

Other wise, the Kiwi's really let the rest play a little too easy.

I would say Tonga gets dropped first. He doesn't really do anything better than Lawrence. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even put Inglis in because neither Lawrence or Tonga played bad enough to be dropped.

we were lucky to even win the match without kurt gidley, I recon if gidley plays then the score would have been 42-0 but instead its 42-6, that 6 points is because gidley wasnt in the side..ha ha jokes...

I thought at least on paper the AUS side would have looked stronger with Jharal yow Yeh and inglis two big fellows who you can also kick to, was inglis not fit? it wasnt his best year but he didnt have a terrible season and yow yeh has already played for QLD and AUS and I think he has had a better year than chris lawrence.

Can't say anyone for Aus deserves to be dropped.
Few players probably could have done better (Luke Lewis in defense in particular).

Can't really split Lawrence and Tonga. Does Inglis really deserve to be straight into the team?

not sure about a straight pick for inglis but how are you going to determin if he is up for a test match unless you put him in it, hasnt he served AUS and QLD well enough to at least be tried and tested, these big game players like thurston tend to have a few average club games but then just seem to fire when they put on a rep jumper,

Im more surprised about the Lawrence pick, I know he was injured back half of season I havnt watched him though has he really been that good? no doubt injuries has help him get a spot and maybe a bit of sheen bias, to be honest when you have smith, thurston, lockyer giving great ball these centres and wings seem to have a good game by defult.

So who gets dropped? Who will be the centres be?

I'd drop Lawrence........although I thought he played pretty well today. Inglis is a must include for mine. Big game player made for these types of tournaments.

My pick with available players;

1. Slater
2. Uate
3. Inglis
4. Tonga
5. Yow Yeh
6. Lockyer
7. Thurston

8. Gallen
9. Smith
10. M. Scott
11. Lewis
12. Thaiday
13. Parker

14. Cronk
15. Watmough
16. Shillington
17. Taylor
