SANDOW = HALFBACK
in 7 games he has played 2 good ones 3 average ones and two bad ones...Im happy to give him the season or even half way thru next year before i ride him off

Sandow could have been anything.
Unfortunately for him, (money aside), he will never fulfill his potential as long as Kearney is our coach. Kearney just can't get the best out of players.

A lot of my mates support Parramatta so I love seeing them fail as well as Sandow just because they were all doing cartwheels last year about him. In saying that though, Sandow wasn't perfect for Souths last year but he sure as hell provided some good moments and some game changing ones. The thing that strikes me most about him is the fact that it's been well document he looks overweight but he just has absolutely no zip at the moment. There were times last year he could jink around or get on the outside of a player because his speed off the mark but it's gone missing and it basically reduces him to nothing. It's quite sad in a way.

He's injured.

The first few games he was our best player - scoring tries, putting blokes through gaps, kicking well. He's only turned shit in the past four weeks.

He had a little chat this afternoon when he was signing autographs for the young kids. He had an AC injury today that just didn't improve even though he hoped he could see out the game. He's a nice bloke actually, and I was surprised by how open and chatty he was considering the pressure he's under atm. I took from that that he's ignoring all the bullshit in the media and just getting on with things. Good on him. He'll prove everyone wrong in time. You don't just go from being good to being shit and staying like that.
I'm glad we have him.

Unfortunately SK is a coach who doesn't even know what type of players he needs. If we had ando now (I know alot of people keep mentioning him but I'm just using him as an example) I think he would use the players like fui, sandow, Roberts, hayne, Paulo, w. tonga who are good exciting players to their potential. We would have an exciting brand of football and the money we payed sandow would be paying off.

Problem is what coach would be good for the type of players we have?

Also unfortunately we don't have defensively sound players

Id love to see Phil Gould-but im happy to see the 5 yrs plan -kearneys has...Wouldnt it be funny -It could turn out a like a great movie with twists and turns and a happy ending...
Or it could be one of those movies with a big name cast that well has not story just wastes time in your life that you dont get back....

Mmmm not sure bout Gould but one coach I think would go well with our players is Ivan cleary

Was SK a fancy ball playing back rower as a player? Or a no nonsense hard worker like hindy? If it was the ball playing option then why don't we have exciting footy to play? If he's a hard worker type then I understand why he's having a hard time with the players we have

I hope it`s one of those movies where they sack the director and another one comes in and it wins an academy award.
