Their defensive line was offside all game, so it wouldnt suprise me if he was.
Refs should be treated like players, when u have a shyt tame you get dropped until you can prove you are up to it.

True, i wasn't actually worried when Richards started running away because i assumed the refs would pick up he was offside as it was plain as day that whole side was offside....

I didn't think Richards was offside.
Sandow held the ball up so long that there was plenty of time for it to be intercepted.

This is the problem with Sandow. He's never been consistent. Had 2 great games but then has a game where he misses 3 goals and 8 tackles, bombs tries and throws intercept passes.

I think the missed tackle stat is quite harsh, i think they count when he dives at the legs of an attacker to slow them down and make them fall, and cover defense finishes tackle.

I'd still rather him over Kelly.

And the fact is that Sandow did everything you need a half to do to win a game

He created chances, took the line on, kicked well, and helped is create enough chances to win the game.

Goal kicking, dumb plays by senior players, and refereeing errors cost us the win.

You would take the game he had over Kelly's best game every day of the week because he was constantly trying to win us the game, rather than trying not to lose it.

Richards was about 5m off side...

Really? I'll have to watch it again when I get home, but that was the first thing that I checked when they showed the replay after the try and it looked ok to me. I meant they might all be a foot off their line (as every team is) but it wasn't as if he needed to be offside to find himself in a position to take that pass.

That's not a 'fact' at all. He had a poor game. Get over it. I'm not a Sandow fan and I can admit that he had great games the past few weeks. And I would rather him over Kelly at the moment.

Surely we got better kickers in the team than this dud.

Normally he's very good. I don't know what happened yesterday. Thats his worst game in a long time. Cost us the match.
I reckon he will have to bounce back next week. Everyone has an off day.

He made a couple of errors but did enough for is to have won the game.

He didn't have a poor game. He didn't have one of his better games but he was a big part of our attack. We created every try on the match bar one. We only let in one try based on soft defence and he wasn't part of that.

It is scapegoating to single out his performance, other than goal kicking, which is not part of his duties as the halfback.

His level of performance, strictly as a halfback, was sufficient to win us the game, if other factors had been up to par.

Yeah I though he did more good than bad yesterday. He doesn't deserve the hate.

No merkin, he wears number 7. That means he plays first receiver and steers the team around the park.

Norman is the five-eighth so he's the only one who's allowed to pass to the backs.
