but surely it's the coach's job to prepare them to take it, so that the coach can then move beyond such a fundamental.
We know these players are capable of taking ownership, because they've done all it before under different coaches.
Surely that's one of the fundamentals that a coach instils in their players during their first pre-season with a club? We shouldn't still be hearing this 18 months into a plan...
Sure, the players have to take that owenrship, but surely it's the coach's job to prepare them to take it, so that the coach can them move beyond such a fundamental. We know these players are capable of taking ownership, because they've done all it before under different coaches.
Has Kearney thought about why it's just not happening under him after 18 months, and maybe accepting some "assistance" to get us up to minimum NRL-standards of 80minute performance? When will the Board force Kearney to accept the "assistance" that has been offered?

The f**king idiot is confident where we are headed as a team yet he has won only 7 games in 18 months. You demented and delirious fool, Kearney. How dare you destroy the team that is so dear to me.

Sounds more like Hagan's Corner.
I was always taught you can blame everyone else for so long until people realise your the problem & not everyone else.
All I have heard is the players fault & to a certain point it is but when will kearney realise he is also part of the problem. It takes 2 to tango kearney u farkwit
How do you know he hasn't been doing HIS job? You're just assuming it's him not doing it, and not the players.
Ask a lol@souffs fan whether Sandow has? I'm not blaming a souff's fan for anything, nor Sandow, but your generalisation's are deafening.

Suity, please buddy I know you are trying to be sensible. I know I'm a little emotional but coaching is not just about game plans. It's about leadership and motivation. It is clear that he cannot motivate them enough. That is one of the main reasons why he must go. It is a results driven business. He has failed. Even if we rely on some type of KPI's surely he has failed there too. So why keep him ? Faith ?
And that's exactly why he said the buck stops with him at the AGM, but also pointed out certain individuals who are not performing.
It's funny that Hindy has also been saying the same things, but he's untouchable, because he's a legend.

I have no idea what you are trying to say there... are you assuming that Sandow has been "uncoachable" all through his school and juniors and NRL career, just to try and present Kearney in the most positive of lights? My opinion is that Sandow is coachable, and we've seen him perform much better under other coaches.Ask a lol@souffs fan whether Sandow has? Then why are you defending him we he admitted our problems are his fault. He did say he takes full responsibility for our situation. Yet you pro kearney blame everyone but him
The more I think about it the more I come to the conclusion that Brian Smith is the only one that can fix this mess.
On page one, poo poo second post got it right.....

Yeh, I am trying to be sensible and not emotional. Hence my posts mate.
And yes, it is about leadership and motivation.
And yes, it is a results driven business.
And yes, he HAS failed. So far.
I'm not sticking up for SK because I voted that 3P mob in. It's got nothing to do with my opinion and I'm sure some here think it has.
I'm sticking up for SK (and I'm sick of saying it :roll because I actually believe several things.
I'll repeat it once more and I'll make all my points very clear so I don't have to repeat it again.
1. I'm not happy with how we are placed. I f**king hate it.
2. I hate watching us lose, and how we lose. I just wish any of you could see the shitty mood I am in before, during and after a game either when I'm at the game, or when I'm home.
3. I want to smash the plasma when I see shit play from us.
4. I hate coming on here and reading little girls crying.
5. I honestly think Kearney is the man who will turn us around.
6. I never thought Hagan could, but I did think Anderson might. I was excited he signed with us. He quickly dispelled my thoughts after we failed in 2010. He really taught us nothing, despite the miracle run in '09.
7. I've said it before and I'll say it again. For some reason, I truly believe that Kearney will get us out of this mess, even though we are in it. I have more faith that he is the coach that can do it than any we've had recently. That means Hagan, Anderson and Taylor.
8. I may well be proven wrong and so be it.
I just think he has a presence that will eventually get us there, and I'd hate for us to waste it, and see some other club succeed with him, just because we were reactionary.
I've followed us since the early 70's, and it's just the way I feel.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.
