Good questions.

If we aren't getting rent, we'd be getting something else.

If we aren't getting some sort of contra deal ,if that(no retail rent) is the case, then someone needs a public flogging.
I could handle a refurbished leagues club, plus extended stands and Cof E ,as the rent offset. Both would bring in extra income to both the Licenced club and the football club.Either that or a big share of Hotel income and extra 200 units' profit.

Not prepared to call it dodgy just yet. It may be frank has pizzed them off enough over his approach to the revised development they aren't being helpful. That's the optimist in me.

But the question is an obvious one that needs answering. It's such an obvious question too they'd need the biggest fakari rug in history to sweep it under.

Fakari rug.......lol. Would be surprised if there wasn't a serious trade-off or if in fact nothing has changed from the original contract. All hear-say at the moment until we hear otherwise.

I like Damien.
He'll have his day in court and hope things go well for him.
Done some good things for us including putting in his own cash.
We were heading out the back door before he came to the party.
He may of made a mistake but in the grand scheme of things there's not too many that don't make mistakes.
People will say he shouldn't put himself in that situation being head of a few organisations and whilst they may be right he's only human.
I can forgive him and hope he returns.
Guessing he won't get a conviction being a first offender but Hes already paid a much bigger price than the normal Joe.
Yeh it'll damage the brand a bit but the Sharks have been in a lot lower spots and we keep coming back.

Have no idea on how the development finances work etc so not basing any comments on that as I don't know anything about it.

Agree with everything except the coming back. It just won't work. Journos are like a dog with a bone and when they see a weakness they keep prodding and prodding. It's the Paul Kent way.

I get that.
Even if he's innocent they'll still give it to him.
He mightn't want the job anyway.
I'm guessing there's some heads of companies that've done worst than Hm and come back.
There's an AFL club who still have a chairman who's made the odd stupid comment that still runs them.Wouldve done a bit more damage than what Keoghs done.
End of the day will he be better for the Sharks in the long run?

He'll be back. No one gives a f**k who the chairman is outside of the club. Hes not a player, coach or ceo. Will be forgotten in a few weeks.

The original deal was a 99 year lease for 1mil a year.

If it's anything where we lose the land, I'll be pretty upset.

On the drugs side of things, I work with a lot of high level executives and almost all of them are into the stuff. It's prevalent but he should have been smarter about it.

I started to like Alan Jones when he supported our team on the Asada issue, today on his show he basically stated that cocaine is not an performance enhancing drug and the NRl should stop interferring in peoples lives. Well said.

As far as I've seen Mr Keogh's principal employer Hoyts have chosen not to comment on the situation.
