sorry is that seriously your argument ?

Arnold I have already voiced by concerns about drugs.

What I am saying is do Coates think that drugs is isolated to Rugby League?

Did they actually think no one in Rugby League is doing drugs?

My answer to that is no and no.

So when a player is caught with drugs why pull the pin on the sponsorship if they know that in every footy team plenty of players are using the Colombian marching powder?

Why?

Cos they don't want to be seen to be supporting a club that is associated with illegal drug taking. That and it is written into sponsorship agreements that this kind of thing allows them to walk.

I really don't get what you are trying to justify. Knowledge of it doesn't tarnish their brand. Having it out in public does.

Its a cop out using clauses in poorly sided contracts & installment amounts. You can bet your left nut, that if all monies were payable , even if opting out, none would opt out.

Yeah, I think more often than not sponsors who are wavering anyway just use 'scandals' conveniently to opt out. But this type of thing certainly doesn't help the Sharks bargaining position and may knock out some 50/50 sponsors.

Fk we are idiots.

The defending premiers with no sponsors.

Give it a year and we will be back to paying to overs and only signing unwanted players again.

Infinity were the sponsor that we jagged from Parramatta when they gave them the arse over the salary cap rort. Companies putting in that sort of coin are entitled to have their brand represented without it being tarnished by shit like this.
