Looks like the bad sportsmanship is spreading...

That was disgraceful. He should be banned.

as a 1-eyed VIC I'm disappointed in Crossy for even claiming the catch but some blame has to go to the umpires as well for giving it out

maybe Crossy has just been taking lessons from MS Dhoni?

He thought it caught it. Yet another example of just how hard it is to tell. Good on Ronchi though, he asked if it was caught, was told it was, and walked no questions asked

Vics win by about 30 runs, Marsh played a blinder of a hand but it wasn't enough. What do you blokes think of Nanne's????? He looks a far more dangerous bowler than Johnson.

Victoria have two dangerous left armers in Nannes and Wise. With most other states (NSW - Bollinger, QLD - Johnson, WA - Inness/McLauchlan) having good left armers, i think it would be wise for Wise (no pun intended) to move to either Tasmania (no left armers) or SA (they had a kid, Gary Putland, but i haven't seen much from him).

We have some good bowling attacks around though:

Lets say One Dayers, but filter out all the oldies (Gillespie, Lewis, Harwood, Wright, Bichel, Kasprowicz, MacGill - they need to move on)

Aus - Lee, Bracken, Clark, Hogg

NSW - Cameron, Bollinger, Nicholson, Hauritz (Casson in 5-dayers)

QLD - Rimmington, Johnson, Noffke, (need a good spinner, Doran sucks)

VIC - Denton, Nannes, Siddle, McGain

TAS - Geeves, (need a leftie, at the moment Drew), Hilfenhaus, Doherty

WA - Edmondson, McLauchlan (Inness in 5-dayers), Magoffin, Heal

SA - Tait, (need a leftie, at the moment Rofe), Harris, Cullen (Bailey in 5-dayers)

well done vic's best 20-20 team this season, saying that all this talk from Dean Jones that the 50 over games is as good as finished is a shame, perhaps the cricketing powers to be could play the one day game with a 4 innings format??? tweak it a little but if a team batted for 20 overs and lost 6 wickets, the batsman who were at the crease would have to resume there innings until the team is bowled out for the 2nd innings, then resume the standard batting order, the game would be reduced from 100 overs a day too 80, but the teams would throw the bat around knowing they have a second chance.
