Patto i would say. I don't think Abes would have kicked a whole lot recently with his leg.

Abes was always very good, but he had more practice then Kidley in the years he was kicking. I suspect we'll persist with Kidley, he's certainly injured less.

Abes may now have trouble with the mechanics of it all, his leg movement is certainly hampered these days.

We'll be rich with goal-kickers next year:

Kidley
Wes
Pato
Walshy
Abraham (if we decide to keep him)
Dureau

I'd take one with Johns' ability over all of em. The security of a 80-85% goal kicker is so much safer than having 5 60-80%ers

Now, now Keeney, don't you go and pull a CJ on me. Joey himself only had a percentage of 74.25

I think Pato might be the one with the most potential.
He needs a week with Daryl Halligan to give him some technique - but he has a lot of power.
At present he is like a 1980s toe poker - give him a proper run up to get his balance right and get him to practice like Joey did and i reckon he could be an 80% kicker.
The others all look like they have done a lot of work and are still just a bit better than Pato - who looks like someone threw him the ball and said kick this over the post.

Joey had a technique problem before he trained with Halligan.
I always reckoned if he got the first one he woulf get most during the game, but if he missed the first one he would be lucky to get one.
Once he trained with Halligan he could go back to square one if he missed one and he was fine if he missed the first.
He went from a mid 60s percentage in his early career to a low 80s percentage after he sorted that out.

That was due to an atrocious record in his first few years of kicking in which he was around the 60% mark. He was better than his career stats make him out to be. Which I'm sure you could agree with.
