:alcho: I think this is cause for a celebration.....send over some Aggborough soup amigo That just about secures our spot next season.....we'd have to lose ever game and the teams below us win every game for us to go down!nostalgia said:Phew, a 2-1 win against Cobblers I feel a bit better about our survival prospects now 8)
Next game is against York at home on Saturday.
I reckon it'll be late April before we reach safety: I wouldn't even rule out Carlisle yet. Remember Jimmy Glass? He was the goalie Carlisle signed on loan a few years ago for the last game of the season. Carlisle needed to win to stay in the Football League and were all level in the 94th minute when up popped Jimmy Glass for a corner to score the winner. Carlisle stayed up and Glass became a hero (till they got rid of him at the start of the next season  ).chileman said::alcho: I think this is cause for a celebration.....send over some Aggborough soup amigo That just about secures our spot next season.....we'd have to lose ever game and the teams below us win every game for us to go down!nostalgia said:Phew, a 2-1 win against Cobblers I feel a bit better about our survival prospects now 8)

How about wins for Harriers, Parkland Eagles, Palace & Dereham Town 8) ? Can I add Colchester Utd to that list, as my Saturday afternoon will be watching their Div 2 game with Hartlepool.chileman said:Well nostalgia, lets hope for another win or point....also that the Parklands Eagles get off to a good start this weekend in the Charity Shield ;-)
