Knights will be over achieving if they make the 8 given the second highest number of players used in the comp this season due to bad run with injuries and 12 players getting their marching orders.

If they lose tonight there is a fair chance a lot of players will give up and they won't win again this year.

Probably time to give the rookies a run for the rest of the season.

Drop leaving players McDougall, Kaufusi, De gois, Ciraldo and Lulia for Mata'utia, Likiliki, Tetevano and Chris Adams.

Still in the eight with two rounds to go against two teams not in the eight, including the Old Boys Day game, and they give up? I would be disgusted if we even thought about giving up if we lost tonight. Fortunately, there is about a 0% chance of that happening.

Personally, I still wouldn't put money on souths to make the 8. Asotasi returning is a plus. But merrit is in doubt, which means we'll have either wesser, who is good for 1 good game in every 8, or roberts, who is easily exposed in defence... even though he will be a top player of the future... plus sutton has a break in his hand, and him firing is essential to an possible chances of success we have

What the f**k has happened this year to make you think that? They've beaten 2 of the 7 teams infront of them. We've beaten all but 2 of them.

We've proven over and over that we're extremely competitive against the top teams, and that we're capable of beating them. They haven't.

Looks like the bookies have different odds to yours since they have the Knights at $51 to win the comp and the Bunnies at half of that even though they are odds on to miss the 8...

Really though its just a battle for a pointless trip down to Melbourne in week one of the semis for whoever makes it.

Time for Brisbane to expose this myth of a team that does not belong in finals contention.

The Knights have had a dream run this year, playing Sharks twice, Penrith twice, Raiders twice, Roosters twice, Eels twice and the Titans once. In fact the only top 8 team they've beaten this year is Dragons in round 17.
