Didn't Matty and Joey and i think SBW all offer to coach Samoa for free but for some reason it was knocked back
yes, apparently alot of behind the scenes stuff going on. Parish for some reason despite the lack of a CV, lack of success and lack of any sort of personal profile is held in very high regard by the Samoan Rugby League. From what I've understand in the past it's gotten to a point where high profile players have asked the Samoan prime minister to intervene and move Parish on but the Samoan Rugby League won't budge.

2 more tries for Dom vs France. First was a simple catch and put down, second was a length of the field intercept try. Was relatively quiet otherwise but had 1 big kick return where he hit top gear and busted a few tackles.

George Williams was man of the match on the broadcast but looks like the fans have given it to Dom, so maybe I'm a tough marker.

I'm surprised Williams hasn't even been mentioned as an option. His club side struggled this season but he proved he was up to NRL level previously and only left for personal reasons. Last I saw he was publicly open to coming back over.

Jack Welsby is the half on Dom's side and has assisted on 3 of Dom's 4 tries plus scored one himself. Only 21 years old but has plenty of ability and I'd be shocked if he's not in the NRL within a few years.

We have quite a bit of English in the side both as players and in management. George Williams makes a lot of sense. Maybe we might see some more movement after the WC?

Williams and Bateman both left the NRL for family commitments. Would be surprised if both were not discussed at some level here if available. John has looked completely disinterested in his time over there.

Williams would be a good fit for us but Bateman I’m not so sure. The way he left the Raiders wasn’t great and if he’s showing disinterest after going back to the ESL after wanting to make the move then that’s not a great sign.

England vs Greece kicks off in 10 minutes. Dom on the wing, KPP named to debut at centre. Would've thought he'd be on the right edge with Dom, but the other centre is Jack Welsby who has been playing half down that edge and built a nice combination with Dom, so could go either way.

25th minute Dom gets his 2nd. Both have been simple catch and put downs but he had a strong hit-up in the lead up to the 2nd.

34th minute he gets his 3rd. Through the hands down the short side then Dom powers his way through 2 defenders to score from 15m out.

Seems like they didn't want to give him the ball in the 2nd half. He touched it, what, twice maybe?

KPP looks like Dom did when he 1st got here in 2021. Big athletic but with some work to do to tighten up his game

Would love to see him here early for 2023

Dom’s on field awareness just grows and grows. I hope his club coach is taking notes. The attack structures need to revolve around him being involved as much as possible.
