Knights in the World Cup

Men's reps
Dom Young (England)
Kai Pearce-Paul* (England)
Anthony Milford* (Samoa)

Ponga would've been there or thereabouts if available, and the Saifiti's both ruled themselves out for Fiji, but still pretty depressing having basically one Knight in the men's tournament. Without looking into it further I would say that's the least of any NRL club and the lowest count from a Knights team in a while, maybe since the club's inception.

Women's reps
Caitlan Johnston (Australia)
Yasmin Clydsdale (Australia)
Shanice Parker (New Zealand)
Autumn-Rain Stephens Daly (New Zealand)
Kiana Takairangi (Cook Islands)
Anika Butler (Papua New Guinea)

Boyle & Upton ruled themselves out after being selected but even when it was 4 Knights picked it was too low. Southwell is the best half in the comp and should've been in the squad at minimum, even if they want to give Brigginshaw one last World Cup. Dibb was an incumbent, just won a comp at 5/8, and was equal at worst to Tarryn Aiken this season. Predebon was as impactful as some of the forwards they went with too.

Dom made his debut playing on the wing for England in a warmup game vs Fiji over the weekend and was named man of the match. Only finished with 1 try and 2 try assists in a 50-0 win but was apparently dominating with his yardage runs. Played on his usual right wing but is apparently competing with Ryan Hall for the left wing spot when the real games start. Kai Pearce-Paul also made his debut coming off the bench.

Those 3 mens reps, 1 played but yet to be ext contract, 1 possibly signed but unlikely to play with Knights until 2024, 1 filled in at Knights until able to take up contract with Dolphins, not good

A few players pulled out to focus on the preseason which is a positive. I’m just praying Young doesn’t get hurt.

Dom will be a standout in the WC. I can just see him killing it and sending his price skywards.

Any NRL scout that doesn’t already see the potential and know his contract status probably should look for a new career. Cashed up English/French/Japanese rugby clubs will be the ones after him if he kills it on the big stage.

Can we watch the full match replay somewhere online? Thank you.

If we let Dom go to hold onto the likes of Mann, Tuala, and Best or Gagai... I don't know how I'll stop myself from burning Knights HQ to the ground.

I have Police, SES, Ambo’s and security all on red alert due to fire being a likely outcome

The warmup games can all be watched in full on the RLWC2021 app. Have to sign up to watch but it's free. Pretty sure it was streamed live on YouTube but it's no longer available there, only the highlights.

He’s wearing jersey #14 for the tournament but Dom has been named on the wing for England’s opening game vs Samoa. KPP also named in 20-man squad but not sure if he’ll play.

if you look at the Jillaroos squad you'd dead set think the Titans played the Broncos in the GF instead of finishing last and 2nd last. I'm pretty sure the selectors didn't bother watching any finals and pretty much just picked alot of the squad based on the PM's XIII game against a PNG side that would probably struggle against our Tarsha Gale cup side
