Reported that the Titans will make an offer to David Seage if the Knights don't have him signed up by the June deadline. I would hope the Knights sign him to replace Carney who'll be heading up there at seasons end. He was a more than suitable replacement for Quinn while Quinn was out.
Also a report that Kidley will follow Hages to the Eels (Please let it be true) and that John Morris will follow Smith to the Knights.
There was mention that Hagan might talk Fairliegh into joining him at the Eels, given that Taylor is off to Souths, and Sharpe is going to England, there are a few coaching jobs going there, and Hages rates Daisy.

Yeah, I hope Seage stays. He's a good, solid player who hasn't been able to take his opportunities due to injury setbacks.

Please, oh please Kidley. f**k off to Parra! Or Tigers. Or any bloody place but here!

Hagan also rates Kidley. Does that mean Fairleigh is as bad a coach as Kidley is a 5/8th?

haha funny that, same paper last week said that morris wouldn't be going to newcastle... they like to chang their minds, they went from he will be going, to he won't be, and then back to he will be.

i really feel for seage, he has had so many injuries.

joey also said he will play against the bunnies, if he is 100%. just between you and me, i reckon he knows if he doens't play next week the bunnies will smash us, and he doesn't want that embarrasment again!

Seage will go they dont consider him 'priority'
Really cant wait for Carney to go..he's a waste of space
Think i mite have jump on the band wagon on letting kids go...good bloke and a solid player, but isnt the future in the halves he looks like he's lost any confidence to want to take control of the team.
I dont want Morris, we dont need another utility player, next yr i want to see a johns mullen combo, with Walsh and Dereau taking over premier and controlling that team, b4 taking over 1st;-)
I like Fairleigh has got alot of potential and isnt afraid of tellin players how it should be if their not playin well...dont want him to go.
But if so whoever smith brings in hey just better not knock Rip Slater ( think thats the name) flegg coach..that boy knows how to coach.

After last night. im not really going to feel all that satisfied if we win 10 in a row with johns on the field...until the boys prove themselves without him...just wont feel right.
What we have to understand tho is that we wont hit the hights like we do with joey..the players need to understand that too...we can still win games but it wont be as fluent..but hec..a win is a win..ust f**kin get in their..smash the opposition in defence, and work ur way towards that f**kin white stripe.

Quinn went alright. Stood his ground. Far better than Carney.

Seage - must keep. An absolute must.

Kidley - the Tigers are after him as well and Kidley has come out and said he'll test the water and wait until after June 30. I say give him permission to negotiate now and get rid of him once and for all. From there, play Mullen next to Johns from now on.

I don't care if Kidley signs with NASA as an astronaut, as long as he's gone.

And the 'boy' is about 60 years old and has coached about 15 premiership winning sides in Newcasle (wests and Lakes), Central Coast (Wyong) and also a few other country divisions. He has also been coach of NSW Country on many occasions.

I really hope that Seage stays with Newcastle. His such a good player and will only get better.
I don't want Joey to play next week, better to give him another week than risk the injury becoming more serious.
