There have been plenty of players I've cheered for until my throat hurt. But at the same time there were some that you wished weren't in the team.

Here are some of mine.

Sean Rudder
Evan cochrane
Brett Grogen
Reagan Tanner

There is never any love on this forum for Brett Grogan! He was a very exciting broken field runner, loved watching him play.

What exactly was wrong with Brett Grogan? He was pretty decent in a time where our backline was pretty ordinary...

I had a love/hate relationship with Robbie O. He was a very talented and high quality player who did some magnificent things for the Knights, both on and off the field and for QLD. At the same time, he sometimes acted like a real tosser. He would have captianed the NRL team of "Pretty Boys" and I am sure he carried a mirror and hairbrush in the pocket of his footy shorts on the field. On balance I am glad he played for us even though he was a tad embarrassing.

For the older guys on here- what about that Tony Herman on the wing- he had hands like, well, he didnt have any!!He was very fast but couldnt tackle and was less than impressive when it came to catch-pass.He used to frustrate the life out of me.

Are you sure you've got the right player???

The Tony Herman i know what built like a brick shi*house and ran about as fast as one.

I know who you are thinking of Farva and I think he played for the bears. The Knights Tony Herman was a winger and he had hands like a brick shi*house!

Lee Jackson - I just never rated him.

More recently - Tanner and Carmont

At the other end of the spectrum, I just loved Glenn Grief!!

Kirk Reynoldson!!!!

Especially after that rubbish he spewed about how he wants Joey and Bedsy
To tell their grand-kids with pride that they played with him at Newcastle.

The only reason why Bedsy or Joey will mention him to their grand-kids is when they're asked:

“Grand Dad, why did you get the second biggest finals defeat ever back in 2006?”

The worst thing about Reynoldson is that we signed him for 4 years.
He already doesn't belong in first grade, but with all the junior talent we have coming through, he is just eating up our salary cap and taking away opportunites for the younger, better forwards.

Looking at all the young Storm forwards now, it's no wonder they were happy to let us take him off their hands. I think Smith should keep him in first division all year until he actually wants to get out of his contract.

I really couldn't stand Blake Mueller, possibly the worst first grader I have ever seen.

Also I used to rate Todd Lowrie but after his match losing effort against the sharks at EAS he permanently made the enemy's list.

Jamie Ainscouth - there is a picture of him next to the word 'stupid' in the dictionary.

Reynoldson and Carmont in recent times and Rudder in the past. And even if Carmont turns into a quality first grader who offers something in attack and defence, i will always remember him as the guy who could not tackle for sh*t unfortunately.

Ainscough was a quality player. In 1995 he scored 17 trys, which at that stage gave him the record for most trys in a season for the knights. Plus that year he kicked a match winning field goal against wests the same year. Plus he has played for nsw and australia.
