Big loss, but at the same time Kev has more than proven himself for us. He could even be an x-factor and a match winner.

I'm going into the game being incredibly realistic. I know that the top 4 (bar Manly I think atm) are a long way ahead of us. I'm still expecting the usual occurrence to happen tonight though where people get ahead of themselves, and when we lose everyone here will get the razors out and start demanding we sack Bennett. Just watch.

The way I see it though we've done well regardless of tonight's result, and making it to week 2 of the finals will help us immensely for next season so we can hopefully work towards being up there with that top 4.

I'm confident next year we'll be top 4. Unless the magic Wayne has installed in the roster vanishes over the offseason, we're capable of beating most teams especially as Mullo, Tyrone, BJ and Gags improve. I've written this season in as a success regardless of tonight's result consider where we were last year and after the Dragons loss at home.

Just checked out the match highlights to the two games we played storm this year. Interestingly we lead both times at half time but then were kept scoreless in the second period, bar a penalty goal. something we definitely need to change tonight!!

Kev's pace could actually make our edges more potent when the Storm shepherd us wide. That extra yard over Macca in speed could be the difference especially if Joey hits his lines to perfection.

Jimmy is a huge loss due to his consistency. We know he'll be about the 5th best player for us week in week out - no better, no worse.

However Kev has the ability to be the best player on the park, something that Jimmy doesn't. He of course also has the risk of making a few costly errors.

I don't think he'll let us down.

With the Storms up and in defence Mullo could put some deft kicks into Kev's corner. But his defence isn't as good as Jimmy's.

On the Manly v Sharks game, I reckon we would've beaten Manly if we played them. They were good but, as pointed out, very tired towards the end of both halves. Sharks weren't good enough in attack to capitalise.

Hopeful about the game but not expecting to win it.

Huge blow. Melbourne will kick to Kev all night and I worry because I believe this could be his first finals game, he could crack under the immense pressure. That said, his speed could be crucial.

At least if they kick to Kev they aren't kicking to Aku.....

I thought a decision would be made like an hour before kick off, that was my news.

The same Aku who hasn't spilled a ball in weeks and scored off a bomb last week? That Aku. Have some faith mate. Plenty of wingers drop ball. He isn't alone.

Faith definitely isn't needed as faith is used to believe in things that don't have supporting evidence, ie the different religions. The word I would use is 'trust'. There is evidence that Uate will do well under the kick today, based on previous games. I'm hopeful anyway.

I'm very disappointed that Mcmanus won't be there. We'll miss his safety and crucial meters early in our sets. Plus his combination with BJ has been pretty good. Having said that, if BJ can get Naigama into space, WATCH OUT!
