While McManus is a loss defensively, I do think Kev offers much more in attack. If he catches his first few and gets his confidence up, he could be a potential game-breaker.

Offers more in attack than the current (equal) leading try scorer in the comp?

After all this time is he still that underrated by even Knights fans?

Nathan Merritt has 140+ FG tries and he has about as much attacking potency as Todd Polglase.

Not a knock on Jimmy or the great year he's had of course but tries aren't everything. Kev has both explosiveness and speed over Jimmy.

Kev scores tries that McManus simply cannot.

I have every bit of faith in him performing for us. I do worry about his defensive combination with Leilua though, don't think they've played together before?

I can't believe we haven't scored. Where did Kev's pace go? Pretty sure from the position, once he had beaten the fullback, that McManus would have scored. But he might not have got to that position, I guess.

Well he used to anyway. I couldn't believe how easily he was reeled in there, he didn't even get close. i just assumed he was going to stroll over.

What a farce. The only think McKinnon can do differently is just not be there. He could literally refuse to involve himself in the contact, and his coach would probably drop him. Every week my love for the game dies a little.

lol refs get their first try of the match. McKinnon catches Slater in the head... when his head drops like 10cm right beforehand.
