Yeah the strength of a reserve side is dependent on so many other factors I don't see how there could be any reliable guide to expected results from one week to the next. They not only have to deal with their own injuries and suspensions depleting the side, but any time first grade loses a player so too does the reserve side, as someone is pulled up to replace him.

It wasnt an upset. Looking at both line ups before the game it was very clear Wenty had the better team. Canterbury played very well to stay in it for the whole game. I thought Quinlan went ok with limited chances, Crooks, Ualesi, Moeroa also played well. Docker-Clay is a dummy half if he wants to progress with higher honours. Fa'aoso went well but made his usual 3 to 4 bad errors during the game. Kelly probably played his best game of the year. Goodall was woeful in the first 20 minutes but came good, still gets dominated too easily. Matterson is a lock in waiting. Henry didnt get much game time so hard to make a call on him at the moment. Pauli went well, might need another game with Wenty to run into some condition/form.

Upset of the round? Really?? I took one look at both team lists and thought Wenty should put 30 on them easily.

The Dogs NRL team was weakened with suspensions so it affected their NSW Cup team, how they could be favourite is a bit odd.

Hows omaley go-whats his story? They gave him good reviews.

He played lower grades at Canterbury before coming over to wenty. Had some good wraps as a junior but has had a lot of injuries. Was mostly a hooker but also plays a bit of 13.

Fox commentators giving heaps of raps to Justin Hunt and Brendan Santi.

Both played well. I don't know if Hunt carried injury while with us, he just never seemed to find his groove. Happy to see him going well and hope he gets a shot in their NRL side at Origin time.
Hutchinson played well as well, he is quality. Hind and Alcock looked like a couple of promising up and coming props too.

Good assessment hindyeleven. I was wondering which forward would get dropped for Fa'aoso and why he wasn't in Wenty. Your explanation makes sense.
