And lets not forget Matterson-Didn't people want him for first grade over Norman start of the year?
Another over hyped Junior who i thinks in the top 25.

Over hyped or under coached??

I'd say the later, I heard we could be shopping him around and his contracted until the end of 17...

If he's been locked up long term despite having little NRL potential then it's a massive 'academy' fail. Identifying the true value of junior players is the whole point of the 'academy', not winning under 20s titles.

The question remains do we not have people at the club that could coach and nurture the likes of matto who have been invested into the future or do we just push them aside to RM cup playing at a level 1 tier bellow state cup?

I'm lost. As a Top 25 player does he not train with the NRL team fulltime?

On most occasions every player does although some are restricted to field sessions with Wenty whilst they go back to parra for weights sessions ... Most 2nd tier players train with Wenty

If they're on fulltime contracts then they train with the NRL squad on a fulltime basis. They only train with the Wenty players for field sessions a couple of times a week after the Wenty players have knocked off from work.

Yeah, the fact he's a young player (and yet to play NRL) on a three year deal says his contract is almost certainly back ended, in accordance with his expected value during those years.

Players at the end of their careers (30+) would be similarly front loaded. Even a flat spread of income (i.e. the same amount each year of the contract) is effectively front loaded due to yearly increases in the salary cap.

You mean CPI linked, rises with inflation or TV rights

BA has said he does not backend contracts
