Bit of space for Goodall there, makes a healthy gain down the left after the cutout pass from Paulo.

Matterson ices the game with a tactical kick out of the full. Throws his head back in frustration there for the mistimed kick but it comes to nothing.

I think Kelly has missed 3 games with Wenty and they have won 2 of them....

When he has played for Wenty this year i think they have won 2 from 10.

In first grade Kelly hasn't won a game for 15 months.

How did Vai go, Forty?

Didn't get much ball at all to be honest. We went down our right a lot (Henry's edge with Quinlan sweeping) but we invariably made a mistake or just used Butler-Fleming with the cut-out ball. He dropped a god awful pass from Henry at one stage which wasn't his fault and otherwise did some useful ruck work and defended pretty well.

How did Henry go 40?

Barring the bad pass I mentioned above he was pretty solid. The dynamic between Henry and Matterson is a lot healthier compared to Kelly/Matterson, or at least in my opinion. They shared long kicking duties and both kicked pretty well in that area while Henry took most of the attacking kicks - of which he tended to err on the side of just too heavy. He set up a good try for Butler-Fleming in the second half with a long cut out ball but then later put the same player under a fair bit of pressure with a similar ball in less appropriate conditions.

But as negative as I may be sounding I thought he did a decent job and one thing that is worth mentioning is that he has a handy game sense. It would take too long to explain it all context wise but he is pretty vocal when certain chances present themselves in real time and tends to make decent calls in those situations.

Any chance we can get 3,2,1 off of you every week mate? You do enough but that would be the icing on the cake.

Quick question 40, given the number of peole who suggest Loko would come back to haunt us

Did he figure much in the Dogs play today, size hasn't translated into a devastating role for him yet I guess

Played right edge for the Dogs, compared to the left edge when he played for us and ironically got caught with the ball in his left arm once or twice (used to be the exact opposite for us). Had a couple of decent runs but on the whole our left edge (Matterson, Aloiai, Goodall, Faraimo) contained him well before he failed to complete the game due to injury.

I know I'm not Forty but my 3,2,1 for the night would be:

3) Daniel Alvaro
2) Cody Nelson
1) Beau Henry (Could also very easily be Josh Aloiai)
