Pezet is 22 Lorenzo is 19. Yes Pezet is better at this stage of their development but to say Ryles is smart enough to know Lorenzo doesn't win you a GF is incorrect.. Joash could go to another level after a good off season playing 5/8 we never know really..

BTW Pezets passing game is shit for a half..
Kicking game is great almost as good as Moses.

We need a running 5/8 mostly. Not a kicker we have that.

What sort of player is Lorenzo Talataina? Is he a running or organising half? Any comparisons to any NRL players as far as his play style goes?

if any movement in and around the club will happen it'll happen between October and November.
And especially involving players still in finals. There may be some hypothetical talk happening but there’ll be nothing serious occurring until Monday after GF

And also ah crap - just realised that the Dragons beat the high-flying minor premier Warriors to go straight into the grand final.

So next week we'll be facing a team that f**ked us 54-4 only three weeks ago (and 46-22 back in June).

I am aware of that but Braith Anasta is playing it smart.

He has Munster and Pezet on his books. And Munster is likely to get a big $$$ offer for Perth in 2027.

Its been leaked today that Souths were offered Pezet services for a 12 month loan before returning to Melbourne.

I am not sure what you gain from loaning in a young player like Pezet for 1 year when Melbourne stipulate he will return.

All you are really doing is helping Melbourne in the long run.
Edit.

It would be the smart thing to do. And whatever you think of Melbourne, you can't say they aren't smart.

They destroyed Flegg with around a 400+ points differential. They have talent like Fa'alago, Pezet and Wishart waiting for a starting position. 2 mill on open market just waiting for a chance.
The way the collect juniors and also keep cap space is awesome.

I see NSW Cup only used 16 players again yesterday, this time Samuelu wasn't used. Lokeni was the other bench middle (besides Ryda Talagi) to get minutes. But last week Samuelu played off the bench with Lokeni back in Flegg and Jim getting zero minutes off the NSW Cup bench. If Lokeni is ahead of Samuelu (and I always thought he was), why did Lokeni play Flegg last week? Why not take Jim's spot on the bench and let him play Flegg instead? There was obviously some prioritisation of the Flegg team, or at least a desire to help it compete with Penrith's Flegg pack that had all its u21 reserve graders dropped back for the finals. Like if our NSW Cup side wasn't in the finals and so we dropped Twidle, Nanva, Talataina, Funa-Iuta, Lewis, Talagi, Samuelu and Lokeni back to the Flegg team. It's very interesting.
