When the mix is not firing then it is time to use a different formula. Luai and Galvin don't get on now that the younger guy said he wanted out of the club so their marriage in the halves should be dissolved. It is a pity really as both can offer great service for the team and continuing into the next few years.
That big loss against the Storm would have dented the confidence of the Tigers. Benji needs to get them to forget about that game and concentrate on the next game against the Bunnies. As I have said in my previous post, the Storm would have beaten any team last weekend at home and want to add that Nelson returning boosted Bellamy's teams chances of a good win.
Agree mate.
Having played centre for a huge chunk of my life I can say that combining with a ½ or ⅝ that gives quick service is totally different to one that basically gives quick service or plays out the back.
Whilst a good ½ should play anywhere a ⅝ usually has a preferred side that is inline with his dominant hand.
Luai excelled at Penrith on the left playing outside one of the best ½ backs I’ve ever seen, along with Andrew Johns...NRL era anyway.
Galvin is also a left side player and Luai isn't gelling with him.
Whilst locks having ball playing roles too, some run more and some have better offloads but the theory hasn't changed too much over the years for the halves.
I would have loved to have played outside Luai. He gives you more options and usually defends well on the inside.
Answer....Galvin goes and ensure we keep Luai and a dummy half in young DaSilva.
I'd love to have Valentine Holmes. He's all quality that guy but I'm not sold on Flanagan.
I asked whether he has a voice, meaning, does he bark orders.
Maybe it's the coach dominating him, making him quiet, I don't know. You guys will be ok. Still too early to hit the panic button.
