El Classico coming up this week.

Could possibly be the deciding factor given the limited no. of games remaining.

Mallorca still hanging around for a possible CL spot althought tbh I think we'll finish with a top 4 of Real, Barca, Valencia, Sevilla.

to the sydneysiders, i will be in sydney when El Classico will be on. Last time i was in sydney I saw a Spanish Club near Town Hall Station. Would that be a good place to watch the game? would it be open at that time?

Walked past it today actually.... I think it has closed down. I would see if Star City is showing the game, cause they have this new sports theatre which is like watching sports at the movies.

Hmm. Barca slip up; goal-less draw with Espanyol. Real can cut Barca's lead back down to one point if they can beat Valencia.

FFS, I guess we're all stinging a little from last night's football results, a definite day of infamy if ever there was one, so my boys have got to stand up tonight and get the job done against Real Madrid, and reassert the right order of things. Unfortunately we're going to the Bernabeu with a pretty threadbare defence, so I'm not overly confident.

They just seemed to shut us down way too easily. I reckon the blueprint for it was set in the world club challenge where we were shut down all game by heavy pressure. and espanyol followed it this morning

While we will probably lose Kun this upcoming transfer window, we also may have the next potential Argentinian sensation. Eduardo Salvio scored a double in his first start for Atletico in a 3-1 over Tenerife.

Losing the Kunster will hurt immensely but Salvio may be able to somewhat soften the blow.

Real have an easy run home and ours is pretty hard. Looks like we'll fall well short of our 6/6 titles last season. What a fall from grace that would be.

Cheeky win from Real, leaving it till the final minutes to secure the 3 points.

Barca still in the driver's seat with 3 games to go. Their run home isn't too bad, although the away fixture with Sevilla is obviously the biggest hurdle as Sevilla will still be fighting for 4th spot.

Disapointing loss by Atletico to Sevilla. Lets hope the Copa Del Rey final can have a different outcome :)
