What's more amazing... say Barca lose next week and fall over at the final hurdle and Real win and take out the La Liga title... Barca would have lost just 2 games in the entire season and yet, not done quite enough to win the title!

Even a draw against Valladolid could see them finishing second. That one loss against Atletico was when they were missing Pique, Alves, and Abidal from their starting defence. They've actually played 58 competitive games this season, and only lost four, and three of those were 2-1 defeats, whereas they lost five games just in La Liga last season. There's been a lot of talk that the Zlatan Eto'o swap didn't work out, and they're no longer the team they were last year, but I think that's not really true.

Agreed!

If it wasn't for Ibrahimovic, the first El Classico encounter of the season would've ended up a 0-0 draw rather than a 1-0 victory for Barca. Look how much of a difference it's made now!

Valdes nearly produces a major f**k up. Puyol saves the day. Barca looking a bit shaky atm. It's fascinating watching this game. Barca are trying to win the title while Valladolid are just trying to stay in La Liga.

Apparently Malaga have just gone 1-0 up against Real. Loving this.

WOW!!! Some Barca magic leads to Pedro's goal. Up 2-0 in the 35th min. Seems as though the title will be staying at the Camp Nou

Barcelona - 2009/2010 La Liga Champions. Score ended up being 4-0. As a result Valladolid are relegated.

Messi wins the Pichichi with 34 goals in the league.

Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Malaga and as a result, Malaga survive the drop with 37 points.

I'm thinking Real will be able to pip Barca this season.

The signing of Ozil is made even more significant given that Kaka will miss considerable time with a knee injury.

Wonder how Khedira will fit into their midfield given that they already have Alonso and Lass Diarra, who's a favourite of mine. Been hearing some rumours of Diarra to Spurs although I'm not sure how much there is to it.

there is a lot to it, RM offered Diarra to us for 8 mill last week in effort to trim down their squad, he wasan't on our radar at the time

We're scrambling to find the money but his wages are an issue for us, RM pay silly wages
