Maloney will play no doubt but i cant see the reasoning for the massive shake up coming in round 26????
All fans are very PISSED so the club owe it to all members, sponcers, fans and staff to go out fighting with the strongest team possible

I gotta say, I am glad this is our final game of the season. And that is something I cannot remember ever saying before.

It's a knee-jerk reaction from Iro to try and show he can make hard decisions. Badly timed and won't work. Should show the club he isn't capable of running the team.

For those of you thinking of jumping off high buildings here is something to ponder.
McClennan's coaching record, 38.1% wins, is ahead of both Kemp and Graham and only just behind Endacott.
Guess we just expect more from our team now.

I know... very sad isn't it. its been three years since we've had the feeling of missing out on playoff football and I had almost forgot what it felt like...

Note, #7 is a scratching I think he'll be playing for the first graders just quietly.

You think Johnson will be playing first grade?

I don't. Iro has publicly said Godinet deserves a chance and they want to see Mateo at No.6.

#7 is probably a scratching because they originally named him and then withdrew it.

And haha cmon Rich, it is no glowing praise to say someone is just above Kemp and Graham. Those two are absolute nobodys as coaches and had vastly inferior squads.

Heard on Radio Sport this morning that Maloney had a war of words with Iro apparently, which could have triggers him being dropped.

Also heard yesterday that Iro put them through their most intense training session they've had all year. That's definitely a welcome change from Bluey's apparently half-arsed off season and weekly training sessions.

I must admit my off-cuff suicide comments have become more frequent recently!

But yeah this is definitely not our worst season, it's just the way it's happened.

Started showing promise but some flaws. Hope for them to be ironed out. Flaws were fixed, replaced by new flaws. These never got ironed out. Lost so many close games. Finishing with potentially a record losing streak. Frustrated by the injury toll and drop in form. Frustrated by short-sighted management. Generally.... UGH

What time did you hear it? Worth checking out on demand. And who said it?

I'd say its pretty close to our worst, excluding maybe 2004. Unlike our rubbish years of the 90s we actually had a decent player roster to work with, our game plan and defensive structures were in place and all Bluey had to do was build on it.

Instead he demolished the foundations and re-built it with a pretty looking straw hut.

2004 was our worst year imo

While this years squad has probably got more potential, the 2004 team was full of players in their prime with the right mix of youth and experience.

1. Webb
2. Fa'afili
3. V Anderson
4. Toopi
5. Meli
6. Hohaia
7. Jones
8. Seu Seu
9. Betham
10. Villisanti
11. Lauititi
12. Guttenbeil
13. L Anderson

14. Faumuina
15. Koopu
16. Paleaaesina
17. Tookey

And outside of that we had a mixture of youth and experience in Murphy, Tuimavavae, Lauaki, Vuna, Martin, Ropati, Vatuvei, Latu, Leuluai

I can look at 2012 and say "this cost us, or that cost us" but in 2004, how the f**k did we screw that up?

Having said that, imo we are currently suffering the worst run of games in Warriors history and not just in terms of the number of losses, but even the 2004 team showed fight at times in their worst stretch of losses.

2004 had a lot of politics.

From memory Daniel Anderson dumped Hohaia, Vinnie Anderson and Laui'ititi for various reasons including attitude, the *great* Faumuina was showing his true colours of brainless footy and Betham was on a mission to get penalized and start punch ups. Stacey and Webb got moved out of position, Dezoltz came in... ugh I'm going to stop here, bad bad memories.

Classic case of horrendous player mismanagement, worse than this year!

So, do you think there is any chance of Maloney playing?

If he doesn't, who's your goalkicker? (yes, it is all fantasy team related) :)
