Rhythm and stealth..

I picture this clown trying to rob a bank while beating a drum.

I don't think it's about respect, if you're up by 52 and playing like that you can do what you want.

Although, this might be worth considering... Just to be safe, right?

I think we should check Milford's bank account for a "last scoring plays bet, personally.... :sarcasm:

If the Knights players had enough passion to "punch on" they wouldn't be down by 52 in the first place.

This is an interesting sports culture point. In the States, if you're up by 30 in a basketball game and keep raining down threes, that's seen as disrespectful. It's not about stopping play, but more about not showing off (strange contradiction, when you see how many players show off in almost every other situation).

Ad for this one, I'm not a massive fan, but I'm not going to say it's wrong.

More questions should be asked about going for 2 when up by 4 against the plodcastle plods.

Broncos are a wanker team supported by wankers and with wanker players but they did nothing wrong in this instance.

when we are up by 50+ and matt scott goes for one on the halfway line with his wrong foot then it may be taking the piss just a little bit too much

I personally think it was unnecessary and if I were a Newcastle player Id be spewing that I dont get a chance to line him up as a result of not playing each other again this year. And I dont believe the argument that the 1 point could decide the finals. The chances of a team having the exact same for and against as another are ridiculously slim and its not like Brisbane are struggling to score points. I dont agree with not trying to score any more because you are up by 40, but with time winding down, 52 points up, just kick the ball out.

That's my biggest issue with American Sport. I love the NFL, but hate all the crap about 'running up a score'. They are professional athletes, there should be no mercy just because they aren't playing well.

It all stems back to Seppo's desperately wanting to show signs of 'class' whenever they can. Fair enough in the under 10's, but professional sport has no room for taking the foot off the pedal.

Personally if I was against a team that started taking it easy on me, I'd be more offended that they took pity on me.

I think it was smart. That one point could be the difference in finishing position on the ladder. You should take whatever points you can get.

If it was later in the season and they knew they needed that one point to jump a place on the ladder, would it still have been disrespectful?

Hate the Broncos with a passion, like most others. But there was nothing wrong in taking the point. Ruthless wins comps

They might meet in the finals and the Sims boys can exact their revenge..... :sarcasm:
