=#35 - Cersei Lannister (Game of Thrones)
Coming in slightly ahead of her stern father is the manipulative, vindictive, and infinitely shaggable Cersei Lannister as portrayed by Lena Headey.
While her motivation for most of her actions is loyalty to her family and her children, Cersei's been responsible for murder, the framing of her brother for the murder of her son, and... y'know, incest.
She's perhaps more sympathetic than any of the Game of Thrones villains featured in this count down, but she certainly generates her fair share of hate.
=#35 - T-1000 (Terminator 2: Judgement Day)
What he lacked in imposing physique, Robert Patrick's liquid metal terminator made up in acting chops. You could almost believe that Patrick was a robot, so cold and methodical was his performance.
While the T-800 (featured later in the count-down) was a blunt object used for murder, the sophisticated T-1000 had a bit more finesse and it made for an entirely different kind of threat.
#33 - Mr. Burns (The Simpsons)
It makes sense that a villain created to represent pop culture villainy would feature in this count down, but it's fair to say that the wealthy nuclear power plant owner has outgrown his original role in parody and become an engaging character all of his own.
Featured in many of The Simpsons most iconic moments, it's hard not to smile when thinking of some of Burns' Machiavellian plots and moments of almost pitiable sadness.
#32 - Bill the Butcher (Gangs of New York)
The movie itself might have been a bit of a bloated mess at times, but Daniel Day Lewis' turn as the leader of a gang of fiercely territorial 'Nativists' in the Five Points War was both chilling and brutal.
#31 - Scar (The Lion King)
Another animated villain makes it into the cut, and it's Jeremy Iron's scheming Scar who finishes as the highest ranked animated villain in the count. Inspired largely by Hamlet, Jeremy Irons hams it up as a hateful, scheming son of a gun who has one of the best villain songs in Disney history.
And, let's be honest, you all cried when he murdered Mufasa.
