I hope this is BS. Best way to promote RL in London is to have the national team play at least 1 big fixture each year at Wembley against the NZ or Aus RL teams. All efforts should be made to organise a nz v eng match at Wembley mid next season to follow up on the epic wc semi final

Rothfield has spent the last 6 months talking down RL at every opportunity. He's told us Soccer now rules in Western Sydney, The World Cup is crap, that League admin have no idea what they're doing and other stories I may have missed because I'm not signed up to read this abomination of a newspaper. I've been wondering why the Murdoch press would be talking down one of their best products, now I know. Fox sports news seem to be reporting it as fact. Not amused this will be a farce, i cannot see any of the NRL based players being involved meaning GBRL will have no where near a full strength team. With that taken to account and that the Wallabies have some damaging runners compared to the northern hemisphere union so i think GB will get smashed.

I also fail to see what this will do to boost the game in london, its a gimmick!

If it does happen, it will be Great Britain, mainly because SL clubs won't release their players, so they would need to fill the team with Amateurs from Eng, Wales and Scotland.
