Anyone who is going - enjoy your ride up the new escalators.

Suity

Depending on the results of tonight meeting we might get to name the escalators. The ones going down will be named the Stephen Kearney escalators and the ones going up will be known as the Brian Smith escalators. The problem is the Brian Smith escalators will stop just before you reach the 3rd floor.

No, close your eyes and pretend they aren't there, or yell loudly "what a waste of money"

Gee you're working hard at it today. Yes we all love the foyer and escalators.

I take it you will be there tonight in your club corporate attire to defend them and their track record. It is certainly sounds like you will be needed.

Instead of bleating on here about how good they are why don't you contact the directors personally, I hear they are approachable at the club all the time.

Nope, I'll be at home. Will you be there?

Good to hear

I wasn't being sarcastic. I am on record saying that their renos of the pokie den are a great.

It's just when it comes to an NRL side we are going backwards and something needs to be done today.

At the end of the day we need the pokies to keep ticking things over, it feels like we lost momentum in the football side of things when we paired a rookie coach with no CEO, and then what you might call a non footy CEO

SK does himself no favours with a poor personal image that seems to lack confidence. he needs to become a bit more out there and responsive.

unfortunatly I won't be able to attend, my family comes first and my attendance wont change anything. I will be looking forward to read the reports posted here if someone is good enough to post them.

From the sounds of things though they will need a few more supportors to circle the wagons, so they will miss you.

I hope they get grilled over the football side's poor standing. I also hope they get praised for the leagues club's good standing. My guess is only the former will happen.

Do you think fans of the leagues club would actually bother attending though Mick? I mean i like the changes they have made to the club but unless i was specifically asked about my thoughts regarding the look of the leagues club i wouldn't say anything as it isn't important to me. The football side is. I would think that many others would feel the same.
Credit where it's due yes but we are emotionally invested in the football side, not the leagues club building

See this is why they need to be separate. The LC AGM should be all about the pokies. the cafes and the darts club.

The FC should control the NRL side.
