Leichhardt Oval is gold, Kogarah Oval is a myth

You led the freaking comp for 2 and a half years.

Tigers made the 8 twice on the back of shocking first half of the year and a late charge home twice.

Pretty similar.

Leichhardt is in the inner city. You're not going to get any neutrals on the fringes of the city. At Leichhardt even in evening games you can have people rock up there who plan on partying in the city when the game is over.

It's all about location. Nobody is going to the edge of suburbia on a Saturday night unless they love one of the clubs playing.

I know people who don't follow the Tigers and rock up to Leichhardt whenever they play there Friday and Saturday nights.

LOL if anythig kogarah is easier to get to from the city then leichhardt

Its pretty simple. Tigpies have achieved SFA for so long and have won a couple in a row, and Liechardt gets what 3 games a year. Put the 2 together and you fill it. I'm pretty sure a few years back Kograh was filled to the brim every game. But hey, tigers are not bottom 5 for the first time in how many years, so lets put sh!t on all other clubs right?

According to Google Maps (it's a popular internet tool which allows you to assess where places are relative to other places, seeing as you have clearly never used it before), Central Station to Jubilee Oval is a kilometre longer than Central Station to ANZ Stadium.

If Kogarah is the "fringes of the city", Campbelltown may as well be in Melbourne.

All suburban grounds are valuable and important.
It is also important that Club CEO's and Boards put some decent effort into engaging the community and fans rather than taking the soft option of playing at Sterile Stadium.

both great grounds, cant split them tbh.

throw in brookie and the three best suburban grounds around.

however if we want big crowds they should only get 3 games a year tops

ANZ is the future. and it does get the crowds.

Leichardt gets 4 games a year, and we are not in the bottom 5 for the first time since 2012, wow what a long time ago.

discounting the two top 4 finishes in 2010 and 2011.

but hey, dont let facts get the way of your shit talking.

WTF?? From the city you catch a 10 minute train from central to kogarah and walk 5 minutes (or 3 hours if you stop for bevs) to kogarah oval.

Do you know how much of a pain in the arse it is to get to Leichhardt Oval from almost anywhere that isn't Balmain? Of course you don't.
