Nothing that jumps out. The Dragons were reigning premiers and Balmain had the highest crowds that year. Although there may have been something else I'm not aware of.

about 34k... which is pretty damn disappointing tbh

with the amount of promotion and hype surrounding this game any less than 40k this time around would've been disappointing. Especially with two teams with massive followings as well.
