Hindy111, I've got a few questions for you ..

If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?

It's a bit like the Rugby League Supporter development some are a little behind on the evolutionary scale these ones we refer to as 'Souths Fans'

Ok I'll go..

I'm born & raised in Western Sydney
Married 5 years ago, no kids as yet.
I work at a market research firm for banking and stuff, it's ok, nothing exciting, but it pays the bills
I have 3 Dogs, 2 Siberian Huskies (Brother & Sister, a little over a year old), and a 6 year old Maltese-Shit-zu cross.
I like to play golf
I am a better tenpin bowler than most
I dabble in graphic design and video content creation (part of my job, luckily)
I hate politics, and am not religious
I play guitar, poorly now as I am way out of practice
I love music, most kinds, favourites are metal and EDM/Dubstep (I think dubstep is the metal of EDM)
I'm a big time gamer on Xbox, I mainly play Call of Duty, but enjoy sport and driving games as well.
I've been a season ticket holder/member at Parra for 10 years now, no plans to change that.

what else... I'm a smoker, but I don't drink, not a fan of gambling (bad history)...

That should do..

My current house is blue and gold (or slightly muted variants thereof). I didn't do it, but it amuses me. The street name is also the same as that of a bloke who famously fluffed a try in the SCG corner in the late 70s (again....purely by chance....I think).

The first house I lived in was in Gill Street, but we moved when I was born. I grew up on the other side of Wattle.

You try and have a serious conversation...... And you end up with this. I thought it would be nice too get an understanding of a few people on here as we chat a lot.
Some real dickheads on here.

Agreed. It was a good idea, Hindy. I was going to respond in a sensible fashion - but why bother? Sometimes I think the average age on here is about 15.

I am closer to 51 than 15. I dislike parra fans because of a jerk at a Suncorp game last year, trying to intimidate my wife with the way he cheered for his team. You can see I never invaded eels forums before that. I actually felt a bit sorry for you guys this year when your best walked out. I think today proved he was right to go and try it.

Next man up.....

I'm born & raised in Western Sydney

Married 10 years next March, 1 daughter (6) and one it will forever be.

Permanent employee of the government in IT. Love my job and get ridiculously paid well to do it.

I write and record music (drums, guitar, bass, keys, I just can't sing) in my spare time. Either heavy-ish music or EDM. My favourite is either hard trance or hardstyle. I enjoy listening to dubstep but writing/recording it is outside of my time I get to allocate to it.

Oh and no matter what the stigma is around creating EDM being easy and just pushing a button I can assure you it is easier to write and record band music as opposed to EDM. The layers you need to put into it and build into hooks etc. is very time consuming.

Anyways, I am quite possibly the most boring human being on the planet. I don't really like leaving the house unless it is for Parra games. I don't drink, gamble or smoke.

I don't handle social situations very well as I have no idea what to talk about and more than likely I have no interest in what other people have to say and assume the person I'm talking to feels the same. I am completely useless at small talk.

I like watching the cricket, NRL and NFL. I follow the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL, Notre Dame in college football, Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash and obviously the Eels.

Is that good enough hindy111?

Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash and obviously the Eels.

Any chance you'd be interested in buying a signed Brett Lee Sixers jersey/shirt for charity?

I mean, you've got plenty of spare cash, man, considering you get paid ridiculously well for your plum govt. job :)

Do you wish you had wings HJ? I know you live in the mountains and like coffee have long hair an collect records at some stage:D

OK, Ill bite...

38, live in the Blue Mountains. I like it because it is (mostly) quiet and far away from large populations. Not that I don't like socialising, but I also greatly appreciate my quiet time. I have no problem riding my bike into the city for a night out with my mates.

I have a strong liking for heavy metal. Real heavy metal - 90s Death, Black and Doom mostly, although I'm a massive fan of Katatonia's new stuff. Having said that, I love a lot of pop. Michael Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Maroon 5 and George Michael have all produced great music.

Work as a manager for Asia-Pacific's largest private supply chain company. The site I work on employs ~100 people with the contract being for a product that a great many people enjoy. Really enjoying the demands of the job as I require being regularly tested and pushed in my work. I mean, I spend a minimum 40 hours a week there so the "it just pays the bills" kind of thing seems like a big waste of time to me. If I'm going to do something then it needs to be a challenge.

Currently working on my first novel. Will be (hopefully) the first in a fantasy series. I am realistic about the chances of getting published, which are essentially nil, but once again I like the challenge and the opportunity to be productive (and creative). Currently a bit more than 1 chapter and an epilogue from finishing the first draft. Sitting just over 200,000 words atm.

As I've mentioned a couple of times, I like being challenged. So a true intellectual debate (extremely hard to find these days) or a complicated puzzle is right up my alley.

Don't really drink because I ride my motorbike. Smoker and coffee "enthusiast" (read: addict). Don't do drugs (except caffeine and nicotine) and love a good (controlled and budgeted) gamble on the footy.

Long hair, beard since I was 17 (although one of the two times I have ever clean shaved it was after the 2001 Grand Final loss).

Generally I'm a ridiculously intelligent, devilishly handsome, irresistibly charismatic and dangerously hilarious bloke. As you can imagine, my parents are quite proud of me.

Ok, here goes,

I am 27 and i live in the Parra area where i have lived my whole life. Both sides of my family are all Parra fans so i have never had a choice (nor did i need one). I love footy, camping, music and movies. My favorites are all over the shop, anything from Phil Collins to Matchbox Twenty to Eminem. Same with movies, anything from Schwarzenegger to Tom Hanks. I love a drink and can be found in the Leagues club every home game before and after the match. Also for some away games. I have met a few forumites on here at the club over the last few years, Stagger, Gustarny, Forty, Delboy etc and they are all good people.

I collect coins/notes and pretty much anything Eels related. I have shitloads of stuff. My place is like an Eels museum. I started scrap booking back in season 2004. Every article i could find. After a few years i changed just to photos. I still do it today.

One more little bit of info, my first word was 'Batman'.

Well i will update mine.....

I like gardening and growing things. I'm not talking about dope.Even thou i smoked as a 17 yld. I have a wild passion fruit vine which is the king of my backyard at the moment. Its taking over!

Quirky and an odd sense of humor. I grew up on a farm. I spent my days outside running up piles of manure ( seriosuly that's what we did) swimming in dams and stealing the farmers peaches... I do not watch tv unless its sport and well maybe the news now and then but i find it kind of pointless as its a mind altering agent.
I like too see the world as a bit of mystery-Not really religous but science kind of annoys me too as it makes the world seem so cold. A bit of majic here and there never hurt anybody.
Im not into adrenalin -Prefer peacefull relaxing things-thou i did grow up racing trail bikes. And still have a YZ 250 sitting in the shed.

Also like music and build wicked vintage hand wired amps when works quiet. Give guitar lessons as well.
Music i love david bowie-Nirvana-the beatles-cat stevens-Neil young - Angus and Julia- First aid Kit.....

So let's get this right. HJ likes metal including some band I've never heard of, doesn't mind Kylie Minogue is bearded and rides a pretend Japanese Harley. In his spare time he writes fantasy novels.

You are one different mother f**ker but I must admit I look forward to all your posts.

Good luck with your novel HJ.
