If we were able to get Snowden, Graham, and Tahu (on a very small contract), I'd be so happy I don't think I'd care whatever else Tinkler ever did for the club.

It's never going to happen in a million years, but could you imagine our pack if he somehow pulled it off?

8. Snowden
9. De Gois
10. Graham
11. Paterson/KOD
12. Taia
13. Costigan

14. Hilder
15. Houston (as a prop)
16. Fass
17. KOD/Paterson

It may look a little light on the bench, but I can see House playing prop, and we could easily bring Hilder on at lock and move Costigan into the prop rotation.

Alternatively, even if we could still just get Snowy, it still looks fantastic:

8. Snowden
9. De Gois
10. Houston
11. Paterson/KOD
12. Taia
13. Costigan

14. Hilder
15. KOD/Paterson
16. Fass
17. Kaufusi/Tui

These teams will probably never happen, but I just get a kick out of naming "never gonna happen, but wow, look at what we could have" sides.

if we get Tinkler then it will only be a matter of manouvring the cap... something rich clubs seem far more adept at doing. i don't think 2 big name signings for 2012 is out of the question. i had forgotten that Graham was on the market for next year, he should definitely be a priority target.

The fact we have guaranteed sponsorship levels for the club means that we should be able to find a few third party sponsors to help along with that pesky salary cap :)

Kade leaving Cronulla could be a little harder now that his younger brother has gone down there, but Rylee still spends a lot of time here so hopefully that shouldn't be too much of a road block and maybe even both of them come back home.

If there was one guy I would want us to toss a lot of money at it would be Tim Mannah. Would be a great signing in my books, is his contract coming up soon also?

i wasn't aware of that. it can't help, but i agree with you it shouldn't be a deal breaker either.

Yep, he's off contract at the end of the year but I can see Mannah being an Eel for life.

Playing in SG Ball against our I mob believe, although I may be wrong as that's just through word of mouth.

It's true. Rylee was only a young bloke (about 14) when Kade left the Knights. As we know, Kade didn't leave under the best of circumstances, and he was Rylee's hero.

Hence, Rylee has harboured an absolute hate session on the Knights for a perceived 'dudding' of his big bro ever since it happened. I haven't seen him in a few years, but I doubt he's forgiven us - although that may change if Kade comes home.

I Rkn we could land Graham if we can get a few 3rd party deals lined up. Maybe get Fanta to sponsor Graham

Enough of that :)

I have wrestled Randy. He was out here in about 2005. He made me his bitch. If he was available, I say sign him. I will carry his gear bag.

Just because he is a wrestling god, doesnt mean he would make a good coach ;-)

Though, if he could teach the boys to get to his fitness levels.... wow!

In his late 40s he would be able to shame most of our squad in the conditioning department.

he's coached college wrestlers and UFC fighters so I'm pretty sure he'd have no problem coaching footballers, also send the boys to extreme couture in the off season, we'd have the toughest team in the league.
Also think we should employ Rothfield, Cranson, DUI Beccy and McKay to be tackling bags at training
