just on everyones shopping list, i just wouldn't bother paying overs to get some of these names here, good names they may be. we have a lot of guys on very cheap contracts that are the equal, or possibly only just below the equal of some of those blokes. i don't expect us to need more than we have as far as back row talent goes, and i think that's really going to show if we get more out of our front row, which i anticipate we will this year.

bring Snowy home, spend the rest on filling the gaps if Likiliki and/or Henry don't turn out. if there are any centres that are an improvement on Sau we might have to look at that too.

If i'd like to buy anyone, it would be the training staff from Melbourne. Those guys turn hacks into stars every year.

If we sign Snowden for next year we're potentially going to be one of those teams who struggle through Origin time, I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. It's not until now I've noticed just how many current and future rep players we actually do have.

those teams are generally the same teams that hang around in september.

We could have Snowden and Costigan lay the platform up front, then have two big metre eaters in Fa'aoso and Tilse coming off the bench,

This would win us a premiership, surely. Even though I'm not that certain Tilse will come back, it's still a possibility and probably more realistic then anyone else other then Snowden.

Exciting times ahead, if we get Tinkler

If Liki Liki and Kyle show they are future stars as we expect then we should move to sew them up for the longer term. Other clubs will be circling for sure. From there we can sign other players with a very big carott. The players will be amped by this. 2011 is looking great. If they feel part of a 100% professional outfit from top to bottom they will be far less distracted by off field stuff. Tinkler will sack without blinking for any headline grabbing off field indiscretions IMO. He is not going to have his name dragged through the mud by anyone. The culture of the club could change completely not to mention the perception of us as being in the poor house. We won't go in to that one. Tinkler's worldwide contacts mean top draw 3rd party sponsors will be out in force.

Don't want Tilse back. It's nothing to do with the Bathurst issue (I mean we took Houston back and neither were charged), but I honestly don't rate him enough to throw a lot of money at him. Canberra have some outstanding props, but Tilse isn't one of them imo.

Two top class props would be fantastic, but considering I think we may need to go after a class centre as well, I think one may be our limit. Snowy would probably be the most likely. Mannah, TLL or even Grant would be fantastic too. Could I even suggest James Graham?

With the loss of the Mad Dog for 2012, we have to sign a centre imo. We have very little coming through in that position. It's not set in stone that Likiliki will make it, and Sau was less than impressive last year, and if he demands too much, we may lose him for 2012 along with Doogs. Plus even if our centre pairing is Sau/Likiliki for 2012, one injury and we're screwed, because I can't see Aku, Kev or McManus (even though he played some juniors there) being able to move to centre effectively. Maybe Tahu? There's still a lot of talent there imo, he just needs to get his head screwed on...which I think he could do back home.

I'm less concerned with the halves, but like Perverse already mentioned, we really need Henry to be at the very least, a decent half. We're up sh*t creek without a paddle if Mullen picks up a serious injury.

James Graham and Snowy should be our #1 and #2 priorities for 2012 - Big believer that you can never have too many props.

Would love us to sign Tahu on chump change as a fallback, too - but other than that centre doesn't concern me too much - even if we lose Sau, between Licker, Mata'utia, Jimmy, Wes, Kev, Lulia, Rodgers... we will come up with something.

Tinkler could set us up for a good season and 'buy' the vote if he chucked in enough money to pay for a top level fitness camp for the guys right now.
March will be too late to effect the 2011 season.
He really could win a lot of friends with a 'good faith' donation right now - enough to give us the best consultants and facilities possible - like booking into the AIS for full testing and training for two weeks.

My belief is that it's alot easier to find 1st grade ready centres in lower grades than 1st grade ready props. There are plenty of decent outside backs playing NYC and even NSW cup who could play 1st grade tomorrow IMO, however props generally take abit longer to mature, so IMO we gotto go for atleast one decent prop.
At the end of the day if it came down to it, I'd rather have an inexperienced centre than an inexperienced prop

We have like, too many injuries Pika. It is like TOTALLY the fault of our conditioning staff that players keep breaking bones and stuff playing football. We like, need to replace them all ya know......

Altitude training room getting fitted to Balance in March.

Not sure if any Club has its own hyperbaric chamber for injury recovery. All have access to one. I think we use the sample at Cowan Manufacturing or the one at the RAAF.
