I would not bother to sign Leulaui, we already have premmy league half back

he would not play first grade at Parra

Anyone can stand and pass (except for Witt who is just shit ) and Leulaui did just that and not much else, I think it would be very wrong to sign him up. Our future is with Tim Smith and Blake Green and although they may not start the season one of them will be getting a shot next year for sure. If we sign Leulaui up we will alienate these 2 players and both of them are off contract next year as well.

If he signs up with Parra, it just goes to show how many mistakes Parramatta have made since 2001. We'll wait and see how good Witt will go for Manly.

His only 19..

but yeh i agree we got 2 young halves already and by getting Leuluei we are just stopping Green and Smith from moving forward

Unless he was an awesome player...but he didnt really show anything today

I wouldn't mind seeing him signed to an a short term contract and at least compete for the position. As long as the competition was fair and not a pre-determined winner.
The winner get's signed up to a long term contract preferably before June 30. \\:D/

I think competition for a position as vital as half is good.

i just think of it as if we do sign him its a bonus, if we dont no real loss

Unless of course him being at the club denies a junior the chance to rise through the ranks. Which would be llikely if he is signed up.

We've got to suss out how much of the Leulaui talk is just a player manager talking it up to get the best deal, or whether Parra actually is chasing?

He will not be any better option that what we have already I think - he is not the confident experienced halfback leader we're hoping for.

Nooo he can stay at Warriors. He was poor and showed no signs of being value. He would be a Kiwi version of Witt.

I can't believe some of you people!! you've seen him play 80 minutes of football against the best team in the world and were prepared to right him of just like that?????...gimmie a break.

I'm not saying for a minute that he's the answer to our problem but he's only 19! and I thought stood up well and competed with the ball in his hands and never shirked in defence especially when Mason was continuelly running at him. He did well.

Bartman, there's is no doubt that Parra are after this bloke but the situation is very complicated at the moment. I found out in the Sunday Telegraph that he definetly wants to come to parra but it's a matter of the Warriors releasing him to Parra, however he has a clause in his contract that states that he can play for an English club, if he wants to, which is why Widnes which is a less attractive option for him, for obvious reasons. but looks like going there now with Endacott being appointed as coach of the side.

He did state at 1 stage that to leave the Warriors he may have to a spend a year in England than come to the NRL, if that's the case he could well be an option for 2006 rather than 05.

only time will tell.

Meh.

Mixed Test match for him.

At times he was good, at times he was woeful.

However, one thing I noticed is for sure - he does have a halfback's brain. His decisions when running and passing were generally correct and smart, and his kicking generally was OK.

See how he goes from now on.

true!

However I thought both Anderson and Leuluai played well, but can't help thinking they would of easily won the game had they Stacey Jones there.

I really dont think he will come to Parra now that Endacott has been appointed. Anyhow Ill just wait until the end of the Tri Series before really commenting on his game as a whole. 100 to 1 he doesnt come to Parra
