Level of disgust

Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling copious amounts of disgust towards the club at the moment

Even during the dark times of 2003 i thought we heading somewhere and things were finally getting shaken up.......it felt like progress was being made even though opes ripped the life out of the squad......... the club was maligned, but it seemed to pull together and become stronger, atleast momentarily

now it seems like all the fat fugga's that run the club have gona back to their old comfort zone of close enough is good enough.....nepotism and jobs for the boys is rampant, and it f**king pisses me off ........

for the 1st time in years my passion for rugby league is dwindling. ive missed more games this season than i have in the past and its not even bothering me........

it sh1ts me that positions arent being being filled by the best possible players.

it p1sses me off that we're losing a f**king tonne and a half our 1st grade stocks.

it sh1ts me that noddy is in almost career worse form but the club would never relegate him to the bench to shake him up a bit.

it p1sses me off that we're still fielding sullivan despite the fact the merkin raped us for a couple of hundred thou and he's keeping better peformers that NEEEEED to be developed out of our 17

it fargs me off that we're not going to get any big name signings despite the fact we live in geographically one of the best parts of sydney .....if we played our cards right they'd be cueing up. FFS half the NRL population live and hang in the shire, but why the f**k do none of 'em wanna play for us

It sh1ts me that we reward mediocrity, yet punish mediocrity all at the same time .....the double standards stuff is bullsh1t

It f**king furiates me that our game plan seems to be getting worse than better

I hate the fact the team never distributes the ball

I hate the fact we signed rapes for the next decade ....feels like it anyway

i hate the fact little limp wristed fairies are going to bleat and moan and contract a hernia over this thread

I hate the fact we have lost

Peachey, Stevens, Lomu, Sullivan, Galloway - so far and face losing McGoldrick, Dumas, Merritt, Mellars, Aitken, Green and others

and don't look like buying anyone.

I can't believe it. I can't believe we wasted 3 years on Galloway in grade and just let him walk in the hope we might land Ross.

Opes got rid of the oldies, Raper is getting rid of the young blokes....

All valid points cheese, nothing wrong with expressing your frustration at all.

I was lambasted in the past for bagging officialdom at the club, not just at board level but also in other areas, lambasted good and proper.

My frustration knowing that I did then hasn't eased, it's just that more and more people like you are getting fed up and speaking out. It's an odd feeling, I'm pleased you are speaking out, I'm depressed that the need to speak out is still there and that things haven't changed.

why cant an organisation like the sharks build a couple of units on a scum ridden swamp .....who the fug are their lawyers??? f**king hopeless

Very good summation of the myth that is the developement of our land Cheese.

I believe it's been about 6 years since the farce began and was" taken control" of by our board rather than accepting outside assistance and a joint venture. It's not even about lawyers mate, it's about nouse and experience and power and reputation in the construction and developement industry, something that was blatantly not present at our board level when they first began, yet still is not present, and yet still is not accepted !

If they are worried about getting landed with an $850K lawsuit plus expenses from the anderson court case , and want to use that as an excuse for not buying players, then it's no excuse at all, the anderson court case is their fault and their fault entirely anyway. They oversaw the contract he was signed to, and they oversaw the debacle that followed, and his dimissal.
