I can't wait to see this weeks team tonight. Could be some surprises. Could just be our imaginations too.

I am also concerned with the lack of ball players we have in the side. After Sully we have no real options. Aitken is an obvious answer but its a tough ask for him to come in and take control and steer a first grade team around with not much experience. Being at halfback though would allow him to get his hands on the ball more though and give him an opportunity to show his stuff..

Why not, head and that Perth kid did it for the Dragons? If he's good enough he can do it.

My point is, Lolesi as an example only, is caught up with the Merrit hype.
he could have only ever seen Merrit kick 4 times at goal. Of which he missed 3.
Now if that person was kicking to save your life, how would you rate him?
I did hear from this Souths loser that he did kick 9/9 in PL game last year.
But that wasn't televised.
In fact, how many games did Merrit play on TV last year?I will almost go as far to say that Russo has played more.
Where is all the Russo hype? Surely he is a good kicker too as he didn't miss any last year.
You ever heard of foxtel reefy. I get to see all games(except 9) live every weekend and if i miss any i can back up twice during the week and watch replays.....I was rapt we bought Merritt because of his speed and his youth and one day soon he will show you why he is with the sharkies.

I missed that one.
Thats pretty funny actually.
My question still stood until I answered it myself now. He played in 9 last year, but I am not sure of how much game time he had. So he played 1/3rd of the year. Pretty good. But inline with Souths supporters prediction of him spending most of the year injured.
Like I said before he has your support, no matter how bad he goes. & I hope the day when he shows me what you have already "seen" comes soon. But in the end, I'd be just happy if he had a real dig.

On Merritt Souths dropped him to PL as soon as they found out he signed with the Sharks.
He played quite a few games in PL but eventually injuries to the Souths first grade side made it impossible for them to keep him there.
Souths did break their PL salary cap too using 39 players.
Was it against us last year that Merritt kicked 10 goals in PL?
