It's not that 3rd matters. What matters is that my team finished higher than yours.Who finished 4th in Olympic marathon this year? Don't know? That's because no one remembers who finished 4th.

It got me the ability to ask you who finished higher in 2012?
.
When was Souths last minor premiership or Grand Final appearance?
There's a few blowhards who are conspicuous by their absence.
Spineless maggots the lot of them, no?
Off circle jerking in a carpark somewhere, no?
1989...
A year when:
- the Berlin wall was still standing
- bob hawke was PM of Australia
- the VN commodore and EA falcon were released
- interest rates were 18%
- Alan bond hadn't been to jail
- the raiders beat balmain in that famous grand final
- the broncos and knights were enjoying their second season in the comp (and have proceeded to win 6 and 2 premierships respectively)
- the gold coast team were called the giants
- Michael keaton and jack nicholson wowed audiences in 'batman'
- a young man stops a tank in tiennamen square
- Ben barba was a foetus
- the beach boys hit no.1 with kokomo
I feel for hillbillyjizzer... Manly and Souffs humiliated on the same weekend, thereby robbing him of his dream Grand Final. Poor sod.
Anyway, LOL@souffs.
Sorry Muzz, but you've just had a LOL@souffs moment. The VN and EA were both released in 1988.
So I typed 'NRL premiership ring' into google. This came out...
Had to have a quick LOL@5(c)uFF$...
Just imagine how confused you'd get if you tried to count models since souffs last won a Premiership...
In a ten team competition that included Adelaide rams, WA Reds, Hunter Mariners, and the Warriors and Cowboys who were basically brand new entities at the time ;-)
My bad... With the eight different models of each car launched between then and now I got confused...
