Some people here really need to stop going to the beach because it seems their is already a fair amount of sand in their vaginas.

What confuses me is that it's Winter. I wouldn't think many people would go to the beach but I don't know where else you could accumulate that much sand

Still only 4 points off the leaders of the comp. We need to string at least 5 more wins together to make the 8.

Our draw is not kind. Five wins might be unlikely.
Need Simona back desperately and good run with injuries.....and smart team selections!

I know it's easy for me to say but surely if Simona's only injury is his teeth isn't that something that could wait til the off season ?

That's 2 wins plus 129 points of for and against. it's quite a significant deficit.

Still, this side can male the 8 if they are good enough.

If they are front teeth and have been knocked out, they would need to be replaced as quickly as possible, not in a few months time

It certainly was an embarrassing Plodfest. Why can't we tackle, catch, pass? What the f**k do they do at training all week?

In a weekend of upsets, we were the only team not to 'disappoint'.

You can blame the coach up to a certain point.

Players who have proven in the past that they are top quality, all of a sudden being shit in defence, dropping passes, throwing crap passes etc is not the coaches fault.

Potter isn't coaching the side to drop the ball and miss tackles.

It's up to Potter to get these blokes to lift their games, but the players hold the ultimate responsibility on the field. They know their roles and they know what they have to do.

Their failure to execute isn't Potter's fault.

Their constant selection despite constant failure's is Potters fault.

I can't blame for Potter for picking Lawrence/Anasta/Lulia every week as we all know those three can play a damn load better than they have this year.

Potter needs to ask himself, "How long do i persist with them for and what are my alternatives"

One thing Potter does which I'm not opposed to is his reluctance to shuffle players around various positions.

I'd rather specialists in each position than 17 utility players like Sheens wanted.

That's where I find it hard to blame Potter. Last year with a year to go his contract he demonstrated that he make hard decisions, like benching Marshall. This year without any certainty, he's being conservative.

The board needs to support the coach in making tough decisions and by not offering Potter a contract they are demonstrating their lack of support. While they don't show support, don't expect any radical changes.

You are right Matchball that we are only two wins behind the leading teams. Historically 28 will get you 8th place but this year it maybe 30. That being the case we have the following run home;

Manly (a), Dogs (h), Dragons (h), Storm (h), Cowboys (a), Roosters (h), Dogs (a), Raiders (a) and Sharkes (h). Some of those home games are against Sydney teams at Allianz so there is neutral advantage.

We need to find 5 wins to be safe and turn our for and against around to be about + 40 to 50 come round 26. With that run home we need to have some big wins. Who'd knows how the Saints and Sharks are going be on the day but there are some very hard games.

I am hoping we make it but I think it is a big ask, not impossible but a very big ask based on our current form, injuries and current team selections.

What do others think....

We need to beat the Dragons, Cowboys, Raiders and Sharks.

That will see us go close.

If we can win against the Storm would be helpful. We seem to have one of the better records against the Storm when they travel to Sydney.

Gonna be tough as hell though, we have an uncanny knack of losing to the Dragons and Raiders when we're considered the favourites.

We just need Farah and Woods to get through tonight. We are a different side with those two in the team as without them there doesn't seem to be anyone who can take a game by the scruff of the neck or say follow me.
