Looking for a challenge

I dunno fellas, Titans vs Blueys could well be a great game, but I'm not sure its worth all the hoopla.

Coming up the crunch-end of the season, I thought I'd read back through a few of the matches. I have to say, with all due respect, that, while the 'bags have an enviable record, the Warriors look the team to beat. They've had some great posts and look a really strong side.

We face the 'baggers now, but have those Kiwi prucks in the last match of the season. I can't speak for my team (and I haven't had a chance to discuss this with il Capitano Robster), but, for myself, I'll be wearing new boots come the last match. Hell, after a good couple of rep' games, I could do with a break; save whatever strength remains in this tired old body for the form team.

Agreed Amadean, I'm a little awe in the coolness of the Warriors. It's like they've got a team full of Madunits.

For evidence of how cool the team are (and the Panthers) check out the match thread from round 4 when the two teams played each other.

When it comes to the coolness of Jesbass, MKEB, rayroxon et al the Ballbags don't even come close. We're definitely going to have to wrap up warm for week 9.

Amadean you're probably in need of a rest after two consecutive POTM performances in the 90s. My POTM was 2 rounds ago now, so I may have rested enough by now - the trip to Laos and Vietnam definitely helped, I'm just wary of peaking too early and coming good on the Blueballs.

As for the challenge thing, at first Senor Capitan I'd've said go for it it's just a bit of fun with sig banners. However, now with all the name calling it'd look like caving in the face of said name calling. Decisions, decisions, that's why I'm glad not to be captain and take up yet another place on the 2nd row (of the grandstand). It's starting to get awfully crowded there - room for a small one?

Hi Willow - imagine picking on our Robster like that, shame on you. I am currently in Anaheim and went to Disneyland today and this thread reminds me of Fantasyland without the queues. What's all the kafuffle about? Two teams already bound for the semis - imho the big games are still some distance away.

I've got a challenge for you though - I think you'd make a pretty decent Titan - what do you think, team, about adding Tit Willow to the roster? There's still time to jump over before the teams are announced.
