Ffs. Shit game. Really should have won. If Vermaelen wasn't playing like a spastic (I blame you guys for talking him up haha) and RvP hadn't missed that chance we probably would have.

God knows why Wenger keeps trying to fit Ramsey in somewhere. Too slow and gets in the way of everyone. Pretty much the Adam Reynolds of Arsenal...

Yeah. I got the feeling the team were already thinking about the City game.

Still, if you told me before the Blackburn game that we would win 7 of the next 8 i laugh at you. Gutted for the loss and the performance. But we have been pretty poor away from home for a couple of months, despite results. So hopefully this wakes Wenger and the team up.

I hope it's only the race for third haha. Will be pretty gutted if we get dragged down to a race for 4th with Chelsea and Newcastle.

Good luck away at Sunderland next week.

f**k what a game. We should have won by more than 1.

Lucky Wenger's geniused substitutions didn't come back to bite us on the arse, f**k knows why Oxlade didn't get on till the 85th minute. Ramsey can't shoot for shit but for some reason he's supposed to come on and get us a goal. Ridiculous.

Yay. Don't understand why AOC doesn't get a go earlier in games. Balotelli is insane. Should have got about 3 red cards.

Lol @ Nasri and Piers Morgan having a bitchfight on twitter.

Really? f**k, will have to check that out. Piers is a c**k so as long as they both embarrass themselves i'll be happy.

I remember Piers told Frimpong he wasn't loyal because he left to play for Wolves. It's like the fckwit doesn't understand the concept of a loan.

Since then they've tweeted each other some more. Including a 10k between Nasri and Piers for who first wins a trophy out of AFC and City.

Eboue (our ex player who now plays for Galatasaray), Rosicky and Frimpong tweeted support for us against Nasris anti-AFC tweets.

Nasri should tweet this link

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3716151.stm

Piers then moved to the US to make money. So he can't really comment.

I'm so glad he doesn't support United. He is the most detestable man on telly.

On Arsenal, you need to stop waiting for RvP to do something. You never really looked like scoring until you stopped messing around and just had a shot.

What?

We would've scored within 15 minutes if Vermaelen didn't block RvP's shot on the line.

Or if we had a shit linesman, like you guys and Chelsea did, RvP would've been ruled onside (which he obviously wasn't) and scored.

Or after 75 minutes when Vermaelen and Benayoun both missed open goals.

Or if RvP had scored from the header instead of hitting the post.

Or if Ramsey hadn't fckd that sitter at the end (granted they were stretched because they were going all out).

I'm not saying we should have scored from all our chances, but to say we never looked like scoring is ridiculous. Maybe you just watched the highlights, idk. We created more chances against City than you did against a ten man QPR.

I do agree with you on Piers Morgan though. The guy is the biggest fckwit on twitter. Still, i'm happy someone is giving it to Nasri.

For starters, never agree with Piers Morgan.

You had one chance from a corner. Other than that you passed around a lot without creating anything. The ONE time you actually manufactured a chance playing your normal style your players were that shocked two of them missed open goals.

The header of the post and the goal were the only examples of your team not f*cking around playing in triangles 35 yards from goal and actually playing football to win a game, not win the best passing team of the year award.

In your post you actually listed all the chances you created (the goal wasn't even a chance you created, a city player lost it and Arteta stopped messing around and hit the thing).

Don't get me wrong, it was a good result, but i was very disappointed with City, who played the wrong game plan. Made it into a boring game.

Bunnies:
You could of won 4-0, but you didn't, and were never really going to.

Vermaelen doesn't block a header on the line. 2-0.
RVP's shot that hit the right post goes about 2 inches to the left. 3-0.
There was that moment I couldn't believe we didn't put it in the back of the net. All in one play it hit the post, came to Vermaelen who had the shot from about 2m out, he misses. Again another case of 2 inches one way or another and it's 4-0.

That doesn't even count things like the Ramsey stuffed oppurtunity.

We were inches away from another 3 goals that would have gone in on another day.

I just told you what we created. We had 3 or 4 opportunities where any other day we would have scored. And if the finishing was better we would have won by 3 or 4 and we wouldn't be having this conversation. The problem with how we played against City wasn't that we didn't create any chances it was that we didn't put away the majority of chances we had.

The header of the post and the goal were the only examples of your team not f*cking around playing in triangles 35 yards from goal and actually playing football to win a game, not win the best passing team of the year award.

Where do you think the heading opportunity came from? We worked it from one side of the field to the other, 35 yards out from goal, until Song was in a position to see that Kompany wasn't marking RvP as tight as he could have been.

So because we don't set out to counter attack or chuck it down to the wingers and let them lob it into dangerous areas for the whole game we don't want to win? Cool theory.

How about you look at it from another angle. How many chances did City create? f**k all. Why is that? Because we were playing triangles 35 yards from goal their whole game.

In your post you actually listed all the chances you created (the goal wasn't even a chance you created, a city player lost it and Arteta stopped messing around and hit the thing).

I've got no idea where you're going with this tbh. Of course we created that chance. If Arteta wasn't pressing (like we had been all game) he wouldn't've lost it. Because of where Arteta got the ball their defense wasn't set and they didn't get out quick enough to shut him down.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good result, but i was very disappointed with City, who played the wrong game plan. Made it into a boring game.

Disappointed with City? How would you like them to have played? They play possession football. We play possession football. And we raped them at it. They have been poor since the Swansea game and we exploited that, the scoreline doesn't show it but anyone that watched it will admit we were the better team and should have won by a more convincing margin.
