Cazorla to win the brownlow medal this year. I think the biggest surprise for me this year, even more than how good Cazorla fit into the side so quickly, is the defense. I didn't even consider putting any Arsenal defenders in my PL dream team.

Sensational, Steve Bould doing wonders. We would have four clean sheets without Schez horrid mistake last week.

I guess a draw is a fair result. Only the second team in the last two seasons that has gone their and come away with any points.

Would've killed them if it wasn't for Gervinho being woeful. 60% possession away from home against the reigning champions though, numerous chances created. Things are looking good. Get a win against Chelsea next week and our start would have been amazing.

Can't split Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Cazorla and Ramsey as my MotM. Thought all were fantastic. Maybe Koscielny cause of the goal.

We proved we belong in the contender tier. Undefeated so far this year, we outplayed them for large stretches of the game. Very optimistic about this year. If we beat Chelsea who would have picked us getting to the end of September undefeated, conceding as little as 2 goals and getting 4 points from Chelsea and City.

And all that with Wilshere due back in a couple of weeks. Things look promising for now.

Yes you outplayed us this morning. But don't kid yourself, we have been very poor defensively in our first five games and you will need to improve if you want to be a true contender this year.

But credit where it's due. Well played.

True but it's not like we're firing on all cylinders either. Our best CB didn't play, Sagna and Wilshere are out, and we still don't have a proper striker in form. Both teams have things to work on but for the time being it's a genuine 4 horse race.

yet its your attack that did nothing other than a GK error from a CK, not to harp on it but if we had RVP up front we would have won by 2 or 3 goals

Good result in the League cup overnight. 6-1 against Coventry. The result itself isn't so imporant but the form it has given some of our players hopefully rewards us in bigger games. Walcott and Arshavin were outstanding. Walcott with 2 goals, Arshavin with a goal and 3 nice assists.

Also Giroud scored his first goal for us. Hopefully that gives him confidence.

Ramsey still isnt very good. Very frustrating watching him give the ball up constantly in the midfield.

The whole team was pretty poor. Aside from probably Jenkinson and Gibbs.

They had two chances the whole game and we did our best to make sure they scored from them. Woeful defending.

We are going to drop a lot of points if we stick with Gervinho up front. Our striking options are extremely poor. Hopefully we make a play for Ba in the Jan window.

I know Gervinho has scored some goals this year, he's quick and has skill. But f**k me he is a hog. How many times would he have open players running into the middle only for him to take on 2 defenders solo for a cheap turnover.

Good win against Olympiacos, although our passing was quite sloppy in the first half. Second half was somewhat improved.

We need another striker, even if we spend we will still end up with a profit for this year. Attendance revenue has dropped by 2% over the last year, which I reckon is a by-product of having some of the most expensive tickets for a side that is continually selling.

I don't think he's a hog. I think he's just thick as shit and has no awareness of what other players are doing around him.

But as long as he keeps scoring i'm happy with him up there. 5 goals in his last 5 games.

Definitely. There are a few decent players (Ba, Llorente and Huntelaar) coming off contract next season so should be cheap in January.

I could see us going for Ba but considering he is crying about lack of game time at Newcastle i'd be surprised if he wanted to come rotate with our strikers.

Giroud will get there though i think. I have abit of faith in him. He's getting into great positions and he's a smart player. Extremely unlucky not to score yesterday.

Couldn't see Llorente at Arsenal, he has said he wants to be at a big club. Huntelaar would probably be a good option though for you guys.

Think his dad said he wants to go to Juve. If we are going to go for anyone i can't see it being another big guy up front.

Good win this morning. Giroud, Arteta and Cazorla were great. Really liking the look of what Giroud is bringing to the team. Thought he had an awesome game. Can see him reaching twenty league goals if he starts the majority of games.

Chairman has been quoted as saying Wenger has money at his disposal to spend for the next transfer window, interesting to see how much or if any gets spent. The article(s) say 35 million is available, but I wonder if that is because that is the profit that was made over the financial year.
