Wilshere and Gnabry impressive for the under 21s.

Surely Gnabry has to get a shot with the first team at some stage. Only 17 but the talent is definitely there.

Think his dad said he wants to go to Juve. If we are going to go for anyone i can't see it being another big guy up front.

Good win this morning. Giroud, Arteta and Cazorla were great. Really liking the look of what Giroud is bringing to the team. Thought he had an awesome game. Can see him reaching twenty league goals if he starts the majority of games.

Thought it was a good game also, we had plenty of chances which was pleasing to see even though didn't go in, but the way your lot pass it around and set things up is a pleasure to watch even as an opposition supporter..

Yeah you guys were pretty unlucky. A couple of Nolan's chances are ones he would usually finish off and obviously the Carroll miss was a pretty big moment.

You guys will do well this season. Definitely won't be relegated and wouldn't be surprised to see you anywhere between 9-13th.

Diame is a great signing and Carroll has been a real coup for you, it looks like BFS might be able to get the best out of him. You'll definitely have to pick someone up in Jan to cover the loss of big Andy.

What a steamer of a result against Norwich. I think we would have been in a better position on the table this time last year, despite the start. The league is no chance, don't have the depth. We will have a big fight on our hands for a top four. Chelsea are back, so it looks like either us or spurs for 4th.

Don't forget that we're missing : Wilshere, Diaby, Rosicky, Ox, Gibbs - all international and bar Rosicky, first team players.

Thankfully I only managed to catch glimpses of the game this morning. Not having a shot on target until the 90+ minute is worrying. Not scoring in 180+ minutes of football against this kind of opposition is tragic - No disrespect to Schalke as they have some class (Höwedes is one of the best young CB's around).

Also, it's the first home defeat to a continental team since 2003.

We are always missing a number of first team players; last two games are still not good enough. I think with Cazorla not at his best/given extra attention, we have nothing in a attack at the moment.
Supposedly the Arsenal AGM yesterday was a bag of laughs.

Wilshere Hails ‘Respectfully Quiet’ Emirates Crowd

After making a return to first team action following lengthy absence, Arsenal star Jack Wilshere has spoken of his delight to be once again playing in front of the Gunners’ faithful.
Speaking in jubilant fashion to the awaiting press, Wilshere likened the atmosphere to a “gently simmering pan”.
“It’s been so long since I’ve been out there, I was running around with the biggest smile on my face. Taking in the sounds of the odd, gentle ripple of applause and the light rustle of bin bags in the autumnal breeze. Magic.”
Despite the home victory, courtesy of a dubious Arteta goal, the afternoon was unfortunately marred by reports of crowd trouble amongst the home supporters.
“Yeah we saw a little kerfuffle in the stands, storm in a tea cup really. Heard some bloke’s Blackberry went off during the game and it got people’s backs up a bit. Yeah it’s out of order, but apparently he put it on silent and apologised to everyone around him, was the end of it really. No big deal, let’s just move on.”
The club have refused to comment on speculation that they have refunded match day tickets for those who took the time to send in strongly worded letters following the incident.

is it just so you can have another whinge ?

I never even read the article I just noticed it was unsourced. If thats the case it doesn't need a source.

Jack is back. Onto Old Trafford where we will make The Dog sorry for leaving us. Very confident, Jack is the type of player whose presence makes everyone around him better.

In Wilshere, Cazorla and Arteta I feel we have a very clear advantage over them in midfield. If we control the midfield we will have the opportunities to win. As long as Giroud, Podolski and co convert those opportunities, we will win.
