No it doesn't, Ade probably deserves to be suspended for it, pretty scummy play if it indeed was intentional. Just my opinion that Ade's rake was a direct response to Van Persie trying to hack out his legs.

Arsenal fans got stuck in to Adebayor for damn good reason. One good season (after 18 months of mediocrity) and he starts demanding the same wages as Henry had been on :)lol:) and was whoring himself off to Milan. When they didn't bite, he sulked his way through last season, rarely putting in much more than 50%, then tried to whore himself off to man U and Chelsea as soon as the transfer window re-opened. When they didn't bite he heads down the road to Citeh for a small fortune and has the hide to say its not about money. The guy is a cretin of the highest order, and while i can't condone the reaction of the fans to his goal celebration, not one of you can say you don't understand why they got so riled up. That was straight up incitement, and if precedent is followed he'll get a ban.

Which brings me to RvP incident. Robin's attempted tackle was a classic forwards tackle - poorly timed, but in no way malicious. It is abundantly clear from replays that not only did Adebeyor change the direction of his foot in order to purposefully contact RvP, but his foot is clearly accelarating on the way down. He may not have meant to get him in the face, but he sure as f**k meant to get him.

I doubt Adebayor is the first player to have hacked Arsenal players, and he certainly wasn't the only one from City, cue Barry. Can't you remember the United game? Being physical with Arsenal players is hardly new and its certainly not something that Ade just invented last night.

Whats wrong with the guy show-boating, given the occasion and the circumstances with his departure. Arsenal fans have been bitching and moaning about Ade for a while, even while he was still at the club. Whats wrong when player decides throw a bit back? I guess some just can't hack it when players decide to show a bit of personality, especially when they beat their old teams

I have no problem with teams hacking into Arsenal. I even take it as a compliment. Teams who aren't as good technically have no chance in the open field against Arsenal. So they resort to dirty tactics, so be it. Generally Arsenal comes out on top anyway.

What I do have a problem with is the lack of consistency in the refereeing. Song receives a yellow card for an average challenge, yet Adebayor who makes contact with a players face as well as constant niggling and challenges from behind escapes any penalty?

That's bullsh*t, it's a dead argument.

Show boat away, but don't blame Arsenal supporters for starting anything. If Adebayor had have stayed up the end of the field and not run 80 metres to stir up fans, there wouldn't be a problem. It's utterly unprofessional and reveals him for the tool that he is.

What circumstances of his departure? He flirted with clubs over a year ago and publicly stated how he did not want to play for the club? His disloyalty is hardly the fans fault that he has become a mercenary.

Wait untill Real Madrid or AC come knocking again, then he'll be off.

Any comment about RVP running to the corner of the City fans and yelling "Ff**k OFF!!!" repeatedly to them?

Fking dirty pr**k Adebayor. That was 100% deliberate and if anyone cant see it then i dont know what you are watching. That was a scummy act and he showed his true colours with that act and the way he celebrated. He is an idiot and that is a way of starting crowd problems and he should be dealt with, cant wait til he comes to the emirates.

Well at first i had no idea why Adebayor was sprinting so fast, or where he was sprinting to. That was until the projectiles began coming onto the ground

Will be interesting to see whether the FA suspend Adebayor for that. They suspended Gary Neville for two games for a lesser reaction to the Liverpool fans a couple of years ago, but there have been plenty of similar (but lower profile) things happen before and since then that have gone unpunished.

If they suspend him at least they are consistent in their inconsistency - only punish high profile players for high profile celebrations like that

If they don't suspend him then obviously it was just an ABU (anyone but United) moment.

I dont really care if hes suspended for the celebration or not. I want him punished for his "challenge" on RVP.
