Romelu Lukaku. The Emirates manager is prepared to offer as much as £12m for the teenager who is rapidly making a name for himself after a stunning start to his professional career.
The powerfully built forward netted 19 goals in his first full season in the first team and even managed to force his way into the senior national team reckoning and has been targeted by a number of Europe’s elite and it appears that Wenger is hopeful of snapping up the Antwerp born star as soon as possible.

Anderlecht to the title. Perhaps most impressively he was also a big threat in the Europa League where he managed to net four crucial goals.
He has been favourably compared to Didier Drogba and has a similar strong running style and a determined nature and a strong physical presence that could lend itself nicely to a move to the Premier League. Having offloaded Eduardo the Gunners could well be interested in beefing up their front line options and given the massive potential shown by Lukaku it would seem a wise idea to try to capture him before he makes a big move elsewhere.
