If Fabregas and Nasri both leave and there are rumours of others wanting out too, then Wengers position must be under threat. Why are we always so tight and slow when wanting to sign players and it doesnt look like we will be bringing in anyone that we are reported to be after, this off season is turning into a disaster.

He has been away on holiday apparently.

A lot of UK media reporting that he passed a medical in London yesterday, and the transfer should be announced any day now.

Initially I wasn't that excited, but I read a very good interview with a French scout who went into detail about just how good a player he is, and how great he could become.

Strong, yet incredibly agile and quick. And can finish! The only issue is that he predominantly plays on the right.

It's hilarious that Barcelona want money for players who have already signed for Arsenal.

I'd be very, very happy if Mata signed.

The guy is one of the best left sided attacking players in Europe. Immense speed, skill and can cross the ball brilliantly. He'd be much better on our left than Nasri or any other CAM being played out of position.

Samba or Mertersacker would be great. Cahill is too overpriced.

A tidy 4-0 win over the Malaysian XI overnight. Interestingly Jenkinson and Miyachi started.

At first I laughed at the Mata rumours, but I'm beginning to slowly become more optimistic after numerous reports stating that he has or will be travelling to London this weekend.

He'd be an absolute steal at the reported 15m, but would most likely be the end of Arshavin's tenure at Arsenal.
