It looks as though Arsenal are falling into the same hole they managed to climb out off after a terrible start to the season.

The cash splash at the end of August gave them an initial boost, but they are now paddling. You couldn't be sure that they'd gain the 3 points this weekend against a cellar dweller.

He better win the FA Cup and Champions League this season otherwise I can't see us having a period of success for a long, long time. Who would want to join us now, let alone in the future when we just don't compete?

We can't beat Bolton. How are we going to win the Champions League? FA Cup I'm really praying for. But it's always the same story lately. We'll bow out by the end of Feb.

For a big club...or any club, to go until the last game in January without a single fit left OR right back was unacceptable. And the latest symptom of our structural problems.

7-1. With Henry scoring the last one. What a game. Finally the Arsenal we can and should be. RVP with the hattrick, AOC was outstanding, what talent he has. Even Walcott was good. Shoutouts to Song and Arteta aswell.

Sagna back, Gibbs due soon. That should do wonders for our back 4 so we can partner up Kos and Verm.

Still doesn't excuse what happened in January on the field and with the lack of signings but hopefully this is the turning point.

Also, Paul Robinson has conceded 60 goals against us. That is the most any keeper has conceded against any opponent in PL history.

You were playing an absolute rabble, and I say that as a Blackburn fan. The owners, coach and entire club is absolutely f**ked. Still you only play what's in front of you, and all you can do is shred us. Played.

Always had a soft spot for Henry. Dude's a weapon.

Everyone played well. Not going to get too excited because Blackburn are obviously falling apart a bit, were without some of their best players and went a man down.

Still, good to see Feo do some reasonably well. Ox just keeps getting better and better.

Messi has 22 goals and 8 assists in La Liga.
Ronaldo has 24 goals and 6 assists in La Liga.
RvP has 22 goals and 7 assists in the PL.

Amazing to see how well he is doing compared to the 2 best offensive players in the world.

A good analogy I saw today about Arsenal (on a british website so the weather is relevant).

It's like looking outside and claiming global warming isn't real because it's snowing.

I can't honestly remember the last time Arsenal won a league game by more than five goals :).

Song was immense. His passing at times is second to none.

Coquelin was tenacious and didn't look out of place playing out of position.

Rosicky once again displayed that he's a decent and high valued squad member.

AOC - wow, just wow.

Rosicky is the type of player we've never had enough of. The not quite 1st XI talent but usually does the job when called up. So often our 2nd string just hasn't been good enough (cough*arshavin*cough). If we had 7-10 Rosickys at each position we'd have the squad depth to compete.

And AOC...he's gotten so good so quickly. His touch, his speed, his composure. Completely unfazed by playing infront of 60k as a teenager. He scored his first of many many many league goals last night.

If Walcott isn't a complete idiot on the right, AOC doing what he does on the left and the great man in the middle, that's a very dangerous front three. Arteta has been one of our most consistent, if Song plays like he played today and not how he played the last couple weeks we suddenly have a functioning attack.

Sagna and Gibbs return, and with Verm and Kos in the middle we become strong all across the park.

The 1st XI has never been the problem, I just wish we invested enough to have the ability to be able to deal with half a dozen injuries.

If you were an Arsenal fan you wouldn't have, because resting RvP at home against Blackburn would have been logical.

Wenger doesn't do logical. And you would have known that.

Happy he did play though. For obvious reasons.

Shocked we won a game without RVP scoring.

And for once Wengers subs did the job. Henry, Ramsey and Arshavin (yes Arshavin) came on and the first 2 scored and the third made a lovely assist for the Henry goal.

All of a sudden we're 4th!

And more than Chamakh and Park combined.

Bit rough on Park but i see where you're coming from haha.

This game is fun.

Only one less goal than Feo and one more than Downing and Henderson combined.

Jesus. RvP has more goals (22) than Suarez, Carroll, Adam, Gerrard, Skrtel, Gerrard, Maxi, Johnson, Kuyt and Henderson (20). That's all Liverpool's goalscorer's in the PL apart from Bellamy who has got 6.
